  1. They were probably worried about over watering it as it was raining sporadically.
  2. I do have some sympathy for whoever did the PB track on Wednesday. It was at times like being in a sandstorm, yet there were umbrellas on the terraces.
  3. TBH Brummies only ambition this year is to survive & avoid the Wooden Spoon. May as well keep Agertoft, Castagna & Shanes give them more experience. Get Agertoft an average which means he starts at reserve next year where he shouod be able to do a job. What would remain team building points wise including those three?
  4. Never does at Perry Barr except when he has no choice due to gate position, yet when he is forced to use the outside he goes far quicker.
  5. Where was Smoggy Wednesday? Needed some light-hearted cheer.
  6. When & why did Etheridge morph into Ostergaard? Woolley was reasonable at Perry Barr on Wednesday, certainly didn't look out of place.
  7. If it is a broken collarbone then recuperation isn't a long period, assuming its a clean break and its not a recurrence. Brummies have a 2 weeks off after the Somerset meeting, its possible Ellis could be back by the time the Scorpions visit on 14/08. Eagles visit on 7/8 I would suggest would be unlikely.
  8. Likely to be unknown until Tuesday. Guest for Ellis, Agertoft, Castagna, Guest for Morris, R/R Aarnio, Hume, Shanes is my best guess at this point.
  9. Is that only for assessed averages? Becker must have done enough meetings to have his PL average converted by now. Nicol has, else a PL team couldn't have signed him
  10. Ellis. Didn't look comfortable all night, bike going up rather than forward from the gate, he seemed to be holding on for dear life rather than.in control. Agertoft. Slow. Castagna. Frustrating!!! When he is forced to use the outside line he goes quick if not he is slow around the inside. Ayres. Good win in heat 3, probably the best race of the night. Idiotic exclusion. Did well to not ride over Hume (I think) who fell in front of him in heat 14. Once the outside run was dusty, he went backwards. Hume. Awful. Caused two accidents. Shanes. Only Brummie to come out of the meeting in credit, despite probably throwing away the only chance they had of winning the meeting. Heat 10 on a 5-1 with Ellis, goes too wide allowing both Bears through, then falls. MPT can consider himself lucky the heat was awarded, looked quicker than Ellis. Heat 11 meekly concedes a 5-1. Redeems himself later, albeit to late. Also cost Brummies a potential heat 8 5-1, getting in Agertofts way exiting turn 2.
  11. If Ellis has broken collarbone as suspected, from what he said on centre green Morris isn't back anytime soon & no Aarnio update. Might as well start from scratch, Shanes aside.
  12. Hume caught Ellis entering turn 4 of first lap in heat 13. Ellis suspected broken collarbone. Off to hospital. It's mathematically over as contest for certain now, in truth Redcar have been comfortable all night. Racing not as good as the Glasgow meeting. Turns 1&2 very dusty. Castagna should be made to go off gate 4 every heat, it encourages him to move from his preferred inside line and he goes much quicker.
  13. Raining in Wolverhampton, albeit not heavy. How's it looking over Perry Barr?
  14. Well I have to hope my Częstochowa blight doesn't affect the Brummies. 3 matches seen this year, 3 away wins.
  15. Bewley 5+1 from 3 rides for Rospiggarna. Started with a 0, didn't take second ride (guessing T/S). Paid win ahead of Holder & Milik. Then a win over Protasiewcz, Milik & AJ.
  16. Match in Eskilstuna now off. What happened to blue in heat 10 in Malilla?
  17. Panthers site says Wright has dislocated a shoulder, nothing on Redcar or Brummies site as yet as to whether it'll be a guest or R/R.
  18. I'm sure Morris was with Lakeside in the Championship last year. Edit. http://speedwayupdates.proboards.com confirms he was.
