  1. Some promoters have protested that Charles cannot ride anymore as he now has a PL spot even though we had clearance. The funny thing is if the rule is followed to the letter of the rulebook it also rules out Craig Cook, Jerran Hart and Kyle Hughes
  2. Buxton have never paid big money out unlike a lot of other clubs.
  3. So Buzz rides for £10 a point and 10p per mile then
  4. A big win for the Cobras in prospect. Buxton have Adam Allott, Robert Branford, Jason Garrity, r/r and that's it.
  5. Dont worry about us we will be fine. Plenty of teams lose riders or aren't able to field their first choice team at all their fixtures. We don't even know what day we are riding at Rye House yet as it depends on the football so no point worrying about something that might not happen.
  6. We are not asking for or expecting any sympathy. It's called the price of success Anyhow dont worry about us we will be OK.
  7. Don't worry we will have a team out on track.
  8. Nick will be a 3 point rider at least at the start of the season The BSPA site is incorrect.
  9. Mike According to the registration listings his dob is 6/2/95. Jayne
  10. Forecast is ok for today. Weather this morning is dry with some sunshine

  12. Line-ups are as follows: Carmarthen Brendan Johnson Scott Meakins James Sarjeant Jack Hirst Joe Jacobs Richard Andrews Jordan Tyrer Buxton Jason Garrity Jack Butler Cameron Hoskins Ashley Morris TBC Lloyd Barrett Kyle Howarth
  13. Normal admission prices apply - Adults £9, Concessions £6.50, Children £2.50. Trackside parking £1. Should be a good afternoon with 21 heats of racing.
  14. Jason is indeed from Manchester and rides regularly at Buxton and Belle Vue. Will have to wait and see where he rides next year
  15. No problems with the weather at the moment. Had some light drizzle this morning but nothing major and the forecast is for a dry afternoon.
  16. Sorry Pudding I know it's Kyle and not Tyler. I just copied the line-up from the email sent by the office but the programme is correct. Kyle has ridden at Buxton a few times and as you say is doing well considering his lack of experience.
  17. Tom Woolley has had to withdraw from the meeting due to a broken collarbone. He is though still hoping to defend his shorttrack title next week. Line - up for tomorrow is as follows: 500cc 1 Jason Garrity 2 Scott Gibbons 3 Jack Butler 4 Joe Jacobs 5 Cameron Hoskins 6 Kyle Howarth 7 Marc Owen 8 Scott Day 9 John Resch 10 Jack Hirst 11 James Sarjeant 250cc 11 Jack Cornes 12 Daniel Sibson 13 Connor Dwyer 14 Nathan Stoneman 15 Tyler Govier 16 Rhys Naylor 17 Lloyd Barrett 18 Brandon Freemantle 19 Daniel I'anson 20 Ben Morley Should be a cracking meeting as there are plenty of talented youngsters taking part. Weather has been fine here from Wednesday onwards and it is sunny today. Hopefully the weather will be kind to us tomorrow.
  18. Yes we are very grateful for Neil and Angela's support. All the sponsorship money will go directly to the lads taking part. Thanks again.
  19. We are still awaiting the final line-up and format for the meeting but I expect there will be at least 20 heats.
  20. The meeting is definitely on Saturday 11th October - have sent an email to Nigel Pearson asking him to correct the BSPA site.
  21. The meeting is definitely on Saturday 11th October - our normal start time is 3pm so I am unsure where the 4pm has come from. However will check with Graham Reeve and confirm as soon as possible. The journey to Stoke is about 45 mins to 1 hour depending on how quick you are and traffic
  22. A programme will be produced and the meeting is not part of a double header.
