Qualifier Top 3
Paddy The Rebel replied to T.N.T.'s topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
If Freddie is going to get picked as a wildcard into the series next year surely that all depends on wether Andreas qualifies in the top 8, as if he doesnt are the authorities going to give 2 swedish riders nominations through Well done To Lukas glad to see him back in the GP Series at last , Niels K Iversern just benefitted from it being on one of his homeland tracks and IMO will do poorly next year in the series. Bjarne deserves another shot at it next year as he has gone through the process of qualifying again and can do much better than this year the probable top 8 1.Nicki Pedersen 2.Leigh Adams 3.Jason Crump 4.Hans Andersen 5.Tomasz Gollob 6.Greg Hancock 7.Chris Harris 8th (Wide open) 9th Niels K Iversen 10th Lukas Dryml 11th Bjarne Pedersen 12th ?? 13th ?? 14th ?? 15th ?? I guess the 4 other spots will go to nominations. and they probably will be 12th.KK 13th Andreas Jonsson 14th Freddie Lindgren 15th Jarek Hampel 2 swedes and 2 poles If Hampel doesnt make the top 8 surely its a 3 way desicion Holta,Hampel,K K . who do you pick?? -

Paddy The Rebel replied to Mr Bee's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I think a lot of the riders from Harris down will be using the GP events as pure practice for next year as Nicki is too far out front IMO to be caught -

Who does everone think will get the 4 wild card places for next year?? GP Standings 1 Jason Crump (AUS) 2 Greg Hancock (USA) 3 Nicki Pedersen (DEN) 4 Andreas Jonsson (SWE) 5 Leigh Adams (AUS) 6 Matej Zagar (SLO) 7 Tomasz Gollob (POL) 8 Jarek Hampel (POL) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 9 Wieslaw Jagus (POL) 10 Hans Andersen (DEN) 11 Rune Holta (NOR/POL) 12 ? 13 ? 14 ? 15 ? If Tomas Rides next year i would presume that no more Poles would be put into the GP Series. But if he doesnt i think Janusz Kolodziej or Karol Zabik will be put in. My personal opinion of who will gets the 4 Permanent Wildcards is 1 Antonio Lindback (SWE) 2 Scott Nicholls (GB) 3 Bjarne Pedersen (DEN) 4 Fredrik Lindgren (SWE) Adding those 4 plus the addition of Freddie Lindgren IMO you would have probably the Best 15 riders in the world.
