Does anyone have any details on Mervyn Hill who rode for Peterborough in 1970 please? I'm after his date/place of birth, or at least his nationality.

'Homes of British Speedway' says the following;- Amateur dirt-track events were run on Sunday afternoons in 1931 and 1932, under the promotion of Newmarket Motorcycle Club. The 1932 season is known to have begun by 10th April and run through until, at least 25th September. A meeting on 22nd Maythat year saw Caxton defeat Staines 32-21 over a nine heat formula.

Graeme Johnston had a couple of outings for Eastbourne back in 1969. Does anyone have any info on him........what nationality was he, when was he born etc.......anything would be appreciated.

No he didn't......his only official matches were for Long Eaton (in 1974).
