If anyone has the Maurice Jones yearbook which covers 1993, I'd be forever grateful if they could scan the pages which cover the Division Two league results and KO Cup meetings and email them to me.

I can cofirm what has been said before, that Erik's book is indeed a very moving and thought provoking story. It is the kind of book which should be introduced into the National Curriculum as it makes you realise just how fragile a life can be. The paragraphs refering to Erik's dilema about getting on the train will remain with me for the rest of my life. Don't rest until you've read it!

He was a top guy - when I was a kid I used to collect badges from the tracks I visited but couldn't get one from Newport. It took him a few weeks, but he managed to get hold of one for me. Does anyone remember the board with the riders' photos, rosettes, badges etc on that he used to carry round the track? The memories are coming back!

Another monthly magazine from the same people as the Speedway Star was the Speedway Express which was a good read.
