Management took some pretty serious and unfair stick over use of confederate flag from do gooders. As the abuse was pretty nasty easiest way I would think was to bin it. Believe at Sheffield stewards made supporters take it down, very sad really. Have these idiots not got anything better to worry about?

How can the track have been bad since 1948? I have been going to speedway for 45 years and in that time the track has been in 3 different positions so don't get how it can always have been bad.

Years ago there used to be a problem when the tide came in and that's no joke.

I found Sky weren't the problem, it was Go Speeds representative who always pushed for things to carry on no matter what. Many a time I've heard Steve Brandon say it's on your head ###### if a rider gets injured.

There lies the problem. Instead of promoting the hell out of the sky meetings and producing stadiums bursting at the seams, most clubs took their staging fee and moaned because no one turned up.

Or Sky paid up to the end of contract?

Probably cheaper to pay the fee to get out of contract than the costs of covering the sport this year.
