Does seem strange if you have been oked a riders average only to be told different when you declare. As Nick says can't comment on the sour grapes issue but can see why promoters don't care about speedway on the whole when you are constantly shafted by your own committee.

Mike, if Garry had the resources Matt Ford gives Neil he would be a far better manager than Mr Middleditch. He is so tactically aware it's unreal. He talks through most scenarios and how to cope with them on the way to matches, he always encourages his riders telling them where to ride on the track. And I bet he is already has a few team permutations for next year. The final thing is he would never take a rider out to the pub before an important meeting.

The toilets at most stadiums are pretty, let's be polite, dire! That would be one of my stipulations.

Come on Gav I'm a huge Poole fan but would give up League titles if it meant no speedway clubs had to close.As far as I'm concerned would rather speedway as a whole was back on a sure footing than glory for my selected clubs.

Find it amusing that Matt Ford is accused of cheque book speedway. Like most business men he has a budget to work to and he does that with a lot of success. I admit his budget might be more than a lot of speedway promoters.

For BSPA you mean Go Speed( Terry Russell) I presume.

Happy with the second part and good luck on that front but the first part not so sure about.
