Only cos it's a bloke thing, the thought of two guys knocking the sh*t out of one another and the fact these fights come round once in a blue moon ..... no way would I have paid a penny to watch it.No way would the Hearns take on speedway, possibly the gp series which is so easy to promote as they have the best riders in the world wanting to realise their dream of becoming world champion. The Hearns on the whole, only take on easy, one room, championship, mens' sports.

Fans should all be boycotting Polish Speedway over their actions this close season. They can stick their speedway right up where the sun don't shine imo ....

How can Lynn have derbies when we're in different divisions I don't need any fisticuffs etc to feel the passion for winning a local derby, Norfolk v Suffolk, Lynn v Peterborough 😊 If only!

100% agree GB!! So it has to be a collective effort by the promoters and riders to sort it. Provide the exciting action and the punters will come 😊

I guess the fans have always thought that the promoters should've somehow filled the stadiums on SKY nights, the only reason for them not doing it has been, at a guess, delicate finances, so delicate that they dare not speculate to try to accumulate. In the early days of SKY coverage I can remember doing facepainting for the kids at Lynn, there were flags flying and high fives with the riders.

Yes but I don't need that to have a good night, surely it's the speedway that really counts and what will get folk back week after week? Some of my first and best memories of speedway that come to mind are of great races not incidents. Perhaps that's just how fans differ ......

So you've got to have fights and confrontations to be entertaining? I beg to differ I just want to see great racing with plenty of passes, team riding, crowd interaction, that's how I want the riders to show their passion, not with fisticuffs. The fans then need to respond, we have to show our passion for our club and riders by raising the roof so to speak after a great race, which I know we do but a little bit extra cheering and not programme filling would add to the night 😂

Or is more about meeting production costs which always look to be pretty high to me?I would now get rid of SKY but my family like the footy and F1 on SKYgo and I'm sure there are channels that the non footy/non F1 fans watch that aren't on flipping freeview ..... oh well keep paying the £60+ a month!

Someone ask the other TeamGB riders why they didn't turn up to Tai's fitness tests ...... is it because they are doing their own thing perhaps? Tai is just too much .....

Just like so many other famous old stadiums over the years, greedy sods selling up to property developers, I guess ultimately it's the councils allowing them to get planning permission though.
