Used to think Aussie rider Strider Horton had the best name ever. Think he used to mechanic for Jason Crump too.

Don’t have to ride for Poole (or anyone else ) to be an asset.Poole still own him as Belle Vue never paid the transfer fee to buy him from them in about 2008. He last rode for Poole in 2007.

And it’s only Poole that “cheat”....allegedly!!!

The story going round when he first rode for Poole was, He rode in a Grasstrack meeting in the afternoon and came off, landing in a cowpat....He then rode a Speedway meeting in the evening wearing the same unwashed leathers....hence the name “Smelly Smith”

I’m pretty sure Elkins won most if not all of their match races......But we know who went on to be the better rider

Antonio Lindback went from Poole to Belle Vue.......How did that work out?? (Clue....7+ average to 4 point average....) Vaclav Milik to Kings Lynn.......oops!! Yep....ALL riders improve beyond recognition when they leave Poole!!!
