  1. Shoking news just arrived here... Johnny Tuinstra retires from the 2009/2010 season . On his website he says that he can't do another season as a '100% iceracer', caused by various problems and his busy life as self employee . This also means that René Stellingwerf or either Sven Holstein will race his first season as full GP rider! .

  3. The first 2 rounds of the CZ Solo championship have been called off due lack of ice. The first round should start on the 2nd of January in Chocenice. Lineup looks good.. It says that quite a few western ice-racers are practicing in Slobodskoj (Russia); Max Niedermaier, Florian Fürst, Christoph Kirchner, Stefan Pletschacher, Harald Simon, Sven Holstein and René Stellingwerf . There will be a meeting including all these riders on the 5th and 5th December, also in Slobodskoj.

  17. Anyone got the FIM (and UEM) allocations already? The UEM allocations are also out.... this Russian website published a few of those allocations.. .
  18. Russia will have 11 places in the Junior Euro Final, according to this Russian website. That means the UEM is hoping on 5 non-russia riders... hmm.
  19. Got a shocking suprise Ian; the UEM will run a Junior Euro Final . 30-31/01 in Kamensk Ural (Russia).
