Today I got the information that a new Dutch guy is going to ride Ice Racing . His name is Dennis van der Tang and he also rides speedway in Holland... So we got 5 riders now Johnny Tuinstra René Stellingwerf René Verhoef Sven Holstein (and there are some rumours that his sister is going to ride !) Dennis van der Tang Steingaden, International Ice-race Group A - Stefan Pletschacher - Sebastian Gegenbauer - Günter Bauer - Harald Simon - Franky Zorn - Markus Skabraut - Johnny Tunistra Group B - Christoph Kirchner - Florian Fürst - Hans Weber - Johann Bruckner - Mario Schweiger - Dennis van der Tang

From the Gillman website Kevin Doolan won the Jack Young Solo Cup at Gillman tonight, defeating Cameron Woodward, Aaron Summers and Cory Gathercole in the Final. Young Ryan Sedgmen rode a blinder to beat Woodward and Matthew Wethers in heat one, but fell in his next ride and sadly it appears he has broken his arm. Darrin Treloar/Justin Plaisted went through the Sidecar card unbeaten to win the Gillman International Sidecar Challenge from Mick Headland/Paul Waters, Warren Monson/Deven Gates and Dave Bottrell/Ben Pitt. Best of the British Sidecars, who were beset by mechanical problems was Ivor Matthews/David Williams who scored 10 points in the heats and finished third behind Monson and Kane Irwin/Jeremy Sherwood in the last chance semi-final. In the year 2008 Classic Speedway Holland will again organize 6 speedwayraces on our track in Zuidbroek(Gr) in the north of Holland. @Bavarian, The FIM approved the track 2 years ago.... Pieter Visser (some guy of the KNMV) checked the track this year and the disapproved it because the fence isn't good (it's from steel), he can't understand how the FIM can approve the track. @Conkers, Did you saw this track (Roden) ? http://www.baansportfansite.nl/banen/Roden.jpg

Latest news about the Blijham track.. The track is disapproved by the KNMV . So no racing there next year.... Gyula (Hungary) got the EC Quali now..

Yep, only 1 Brit; Quali 2 Saalfelden (Austria). How many Brits are doing Ice racing btw Conkers ?
