  1. Any predictions? Both look realy tough. Sweden: M.Haarahiltunen, N.Svensson, F.Zorn, H.Weber, N.Toloknov, D.Valeev, A.Shishegov... maybe G.Bauer? Finland: O.Ledstrom, S.Svensson, D.Ivanov, D.Khomitsevich look certain... then S.Pletschacher, M.Niedermaier, T.Busch, J.Iwema, C.Ebner?
  2. Part of the game indeed. Makes the wildcard nominations quite interesting though. Regular boys Simon and Klabo missing out due to injuries.
  3. He is actualy replacing Philip Lageder. Andrej Divis is already replaced by Robert Růžička. Lots of changes in the lineups this year. The Czechs replaced 4 riders already.
  4. Dinar and Nikita to Sweden Daniil and Dmitry to Finland
  5. Koltakov was ill, that's why he wasn't as strong as usual. Makarov was already in the Ice Finals in 2014. I was hoping that he would qualify as well.

  7. - Koltakov - 6 from each Qualifier - 2 FIM wildcards - 1 local wildcard
  8. There will be some kind of Euro championship hosted by DTRA with events hosted in Holland, Spain and the UK. Not associated with FIM Europe for as far as I know.
  9. It's not a World Championship, it's a World Cup. It doesn't mean anything. It's only partly organised by FIM, the same as the track racing youth meetings. Except the 250’s speedway which is a World Championship since 2 years.

  11. Police report: The fatal accident occurred on Sunday, December 16, in the Satka district of the region. According to the regional UGIBDD, at about half past seven in the evening, at the 1713th kilometer of the Moscow-Chelyabinsk highway, the 32-year-old truck driver MAN did not cope with the snowfall and allowed the semi-trailer to drift into the oncoming traffic lane. The oncoming Volkswagen Crafter van crashed into the trailer, which was driven by a 54-year-old driver. Unfortunately, the man died on the spot from his injuries.
  12. This is confirmed now sadly. Igor broke his ankle and will need an operation to fix it. His dad died on the spot. Other riders (Solyannikov) quickly arrived to help on the scene. It all happened in a split second with limited visibility, and an overtaking car. So sad
  13. 14. It's actually a GM NX. Most tuners test with it these days.
  15. Mellgren retired so Fienhage jumps in as permanent rider. Meijerink joins the reserves.
  16. The same guy who streamed last weekend should stream again. Just keep an eye on his channel.
  17. Yes this is changed. No more wildcards, unless a Croatian rider failed to qualify (which is likely). Then only 3 from Abensberg. Pavlic will start in Abensberg, so he will have 2 chances to qualify for GP.

  22. There is a dropdown to switch to 2019. I will ask FIM to correct it.
