I know one thing if lynn speedway meetings takes as long as lambert testimonial I for one would stop going. It needs to start dead on 7:30 not 8pm and be finished by 9:30 if you want to entice parents to bring there children like I do.

Let's hope huckenbeck rides as well for lynn as he is in the pairs tonight if so he he is going to be challenging for a Heat leader spot !!

How do you know he is only there temporary? I bet he is still there at the end of the season

The team needs a no1 and I'm sorry to say campos will never be that person, shame as they get all these sponsors but don't get a competitive team. People will not support a team that gets beaten home and away and also it will not help the youngsters in the team as it will knock there confidence. There are riders out there who are far better than campos but will want more more which is whati guess it all boils down too.

I think josh Bailey will be given till the first set of averages then they will see what they have got to play with. David Howe's average is being reduced to 4.6 after the first set of averages that would be the choice for me if we could fit him in

The problem is that the promoters are old and do not like change hernce the reason they did not like you running super 7 as you was way to advanced in ways for there liking. How the sport needs someone like you to drag in through the mud into the future, I was only saying the other day why don't they have free wifi for fans inside the stadium so you can keep an eye on other results and other sports while in the stadium

Yes but they can do it for a show it does not have to mean anything and can be mates after the meeting same as WWE or the Haye , Bellewe that hated each other then were best mates afterwards

See my point is shared by others no characters in speedway nowadays apart from Pedersen. we ar all talking about the past the promoters should be getting together with the riders and the SCB and looking to allow riders to be able put some fun back into the sport without getting fined for farting !! Let the riders square up too each other, trash talk on the mic, speedway needs to be a show to keep people entertained for 2 hours not 15mins of just racing. Make the derbys proper derbys like the old day instead of inviting the neighbours round for a cup of tea ! The riders are suppose to be gladiators going into a ring not bloody dancers !! BSPA sort it out before it's too late

Exactly we need more mr nastys like Pedersen the fans love a villain look when he get introduced at Cardiff all you hear are boos. he is a character and probably the only one left. The sport will be worse off when he retires.

Exactly don't get me wrong we all go to speedway to see good racing but we all know we will not get it every race, it needs characters it needs other things to happen the sport is dying it need a sweep through with a big broom the promoters need to get together with the riders and get some characters back in the sport. The refs have spoilt it as nowadays they fine them for anything make it a show with pantamine villains if each team had them kids would love it

So you are telling me trees that you did not like Shane Parker antics at when he was at Lynn and you did not use to like buster running up to the refs box or laying on the track ? I'm sure you went home talking about these things as well as good racing it's a show as well as racing

So your telling me that when a couple of riders square up to each other the crowd at speedway does not get excited?? I beg to differ !! The sport needs characters we only have Nicki Pedersen left now days, some of my favourite memories was watching Shane Parker at Kingslynn, people still talk now about his antics against Ipswich like when he tried to drive the tractor at Ipswich and then started fighting with the security guards lol. Buster running up to the refs box to complain against a decision! My parents still talk about when riders use to stop after the race and confront the fans in the 70'sthe crowd use to love it, we have no characters in speedway like this nowadays and the sport needs them. If a rider even farts nowadays he gets fined. It does not hurt anyone if the riders had a fight on the track who are they going to hurt when their wearing crash helmets. But it generates exictment which in turns gets people talking which in turns brings in people through the turnstiles, people want a good nights entertainment good racing a bit of fun on and off the track.

I think the promoters would keep the teams as they are, and hopefully do what any good promoter should do and go out and promote the sport !! Bring back riders squaring up too each other look at the Boxing how they promote it too get people to buy the pay per view. I think there must be some serious talks going on behind the scenes, if it is only BT interested in showing speedway they hold all the aces as they have no one to bid against they could get it for peanuts.this could be more than a nail in the coffin it could be the padlock that keeps it locked let's hope not

Jan O Pedersen ? I have heard that Ian Turner use to have to have the frames altered so that he could touch the floor properly ! As a standard frame was too high. Don't know if this is true does anyone know ?

I think you will find that finances stopped him from progressing further in the sport.

If he was on 5.5 would he not have his average reduced because of injury and retirement and also a reduction for being English I would say 3.3 Would be about right think he would then fit in at no 7 lol
