  1. Well I agree the uk has held him back and if I was in his shoes I would be riding in Germany and not in the uk at weekends, if he can ride against top European riders on the continent that has got to be better for him than riding against nl riders in the uk at weekends!!! He has more ability at 15 than most riders in the premier league now do you think he would have that ability if he stuck by the rules here and just rode in the uk ??? Leave the bloody boy alone and support him he is the best talent the uk has ever produced. the way you all keep slating him I would not be surprised if he did not take out a German licence when he was 16 then you will all be happy then!! This country should have a riding test to see if you can ride because I have seen plenty of 15/16 year old riders looking way out of control and dangerous to other riders and I have seen other riders at 14 who have far more control than a 16 year old. My motto is if your good enough your age should make no difference. If you do read this Robert take no notice of the idiots on here do what's best for your career and carry on ridding like you are and we will have a future world champion in the making!
  2. Just have to say wow what a talent Robert Lambert is unbelievable skill and control looked like he was playing with them by missing the gate if only we could sign him permently
  3. I have a double room in the thistle hotel in Cardiff city centre for Saturday night only spare
  4. I have watched Robert with interest for the last two years, and I personally think he is the best talent I have seen on a speedway bike since Michael lee. I witnessed Darcy riding when he was the same age and Robert seems faster, he was practicing at kings Lynn this year before the season started and was out on track with Andreas Jonsson and the Lynn team and he was keeping up with them no problems! My hope is since he's a Norfolk lad he would like to ride for a Norfolk team, Well I can hope can't I
  5. Big well done to Lewis Kerr!!!! keep this up and he will be wearing the stars race jacket in the elite next year.
  6. Great to see Lewis Kerr scoring points in the premier he has what it takes he just needed matches, maybe u have another Richie Worrall in the making !
  7. I have seen him ride kings Lynn and he looks so smooth and fast that is frightening to think he is that young, I remember seeing darcy ride his first rides around kings Lynn at the same age when he use to come over for the 125cc championships in Denmark and use to stay with the chapmans, and he use to ride a 500 round Lynn but no where as good as lambert. The boy has the world at his feet if he can stay level headed and stay away from injuries and women lol. I wonder how many promoters have already tried to throw money at him to ride for them when he is 16 (like the football clubs do)
  8. I just tried some hotels for the 1st of June and they are saying fully booked
  9. Anyone heard on the grape vine the date for Cardiff 2013, I know it's going to be announced tommorow night on sky but wanted to beat the big rush !!!
  10. I see on the updates that jake knight has a suspected broken ankle so don't think he will be riding this afternoon unless he makes a quick recovery! Do anyone know who is going to replace him? After watching Andy mountain the other week he looked very fast in the Anglia development league may be worth a shot instead of r/r
  11. Where do u think we will finish in the league??. I think if they ride to there potential we may finish in the top 3
  12. It's a shame that Tom stokes has broke his wrist as he was looking good at the end of last year, but we can now unlease Lewis rose. Am really looking forward to watching this rider progress.
  13. There is one thing for sure mr rose will not be shy going into the first bend! The bspa should advertise in dirt bike rider for free practice days around the country for motorcross riders as they seem to take to our sport fairly quickly and unless you are right at the very top you can't earn any money out of the sport unlike speedway, when you look we have had Ritchie lawson, Craig cook, Lewis Kerr, now Lewis rose etc all coming over from motorcross and they all picked it up quickly. just think there may be future world champion out there. I see tony Briggs said at tourn gp that he took a top polish motorcrosser and he got the hang of it really quickly and rekons he could ride polish league after a few more sessions. Billy Hamill is looking at doing it in USA. So why don't the bspa give some free rides to these guys in Britain to see if they like it.
  14. I have heard that Lewis rose should be getting a reserve spot, sounds a real talent on a bike was very highly regarded in motorcross but never had the money to compete with the big work riders. Kings lynn signed him up on his first pratice. He just went through the card at a meeting at Scunthorpe after only 5 practice sessions on a speedway bike! Which sounds pretty impressive to me. He just needs some backing and I think he could go along way.
  15. i know they were sponsored by exide was using them as a example! and dont sky show cycling on skysports so cant see why it could not be done
  16. I dont know if there has been a thread started already regarding this but i think sky should jump on the band wagon here if darcy gets a gp place and add chris holder to form team sky. they have team sky in cycle racing so why not give it ago they could be the new hamill and hancock.!!!
  17. hi can anyone help i need 2 twin rooms for the saturday night for the british gp but dont want to pay 200 quid a room anyone know of some guest houses which could be cheaper ? thanks
