Anyone Booked Prague Tickets?
Sandie replied to Yorkshire Ace's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
NO But then again Im not going! Theres only so much time a girl can have off work -
No its earlier as its not the heart of summer and therefore not as hot. Looks like its a 20:00 local time which is the time you need but that is then a 19:00 hours start for those left here to watch on TV

I would rather a 'lesser' listed act and what small pot of money there is be ploughed back into speedway, rather than pay squliions for a 'current star' which a large crowd of us 'oldies' would rather not hear as they scream and holla into their microphones!!!!! -
I use this web site http://www.speedway.org/wm/2007/index.html for results but not sure about wether it updates as it goes along - but heres a programme from the site so maybe it does. http://www.speedway.org/junioren-wm/2007/index.html#herxheim

I think its all just a bit of fun and for atmosphere they will be great. I wouldnt pay money to go to see them on their own but Im not complaining to see them as part of the fun on GP day. Incidently - all those that have bar-humbugged C & D, who do you think should be booked. Remember it needs to be someone whose music is designed to get the foot tapping and people smiling. Its the warm up act after all and not the main event? Shazzy - keep yourr suggestions clean please!!!! -

I think you have taken that out of context. If you read back SCB said why Mark shouldnt be the NEXT team manager (no managerial experience but would be good with moral). Sube then made a negative comment about Middlo by his post, and SCB was pointing out that they werent discussing Middlo but the Next manager. Or something like that. Anyhow thats the way I read it - Dont know whether he does or doesnt like Middlo but I dont think that post meant - NO to Middlo. But no doubt he will have his say when he gets back from KL tonight

will you be there for the full team meeting NJT?
-
You could have gone straight to the airport!!
-
The tour officially started early this morning with the arrival of riders, management and families. Tommy Hedden is already in the country along with skipper Tim Gomez who was at the airport to greet the remaining team members. Dale and Neil Facchini, Bryan Yarrow, JT Mabry and Kenny Ingalls now complete the team. Today (Wednesday) the team will spend the remainder of the day unpacking crates and cases and building bikes ready for their practice session tomorrow (Thursday). The tour then starts in earnest with the first meeting against Weymouth this Friday The tour schedule is then as follows. 06 Apr : Weymouth Wildcats CL Challenge 08 Apr : Scunthorpe Scorpions CL Challenge 09 Apr : Wolverhampton Cubs CL Challenge 12 Apr : Sheffield Tigers 2nd Half 13 Apr : Plymouth Devils CL Challenge 15 Apr : Buxton Hitmen CL Challenge Talking to team members this morning they are all really looking forward to the tour and said that there was something special about British fans, their support and the awesome tracks. They hope to meet as many Dream Team fans on their travels this year as possible and thank you for your support.

Sandie replied to TwoMinuteWarning's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Now we know what we will be missing. (Not here - on holibobs!) Sounds like a great meeting - Great Britain - Chris Harris Scott Nicholls Sweden - AJ USA Billy J Billy Hammill Greg Hancock ALL good round Coventry and no doubt others will start adding names to that list. -
And Gemma will be very HAPPY at that news!!
-
Are you Kev ? Are you really? You know I love you xxx
-
and so will Kev!!! Sjl - you will have a great time like nothing else you will have ever seen before. Where else can 'rival' supporters all drink in one bar and wander round town nodding and chatting away to each other. We take over the City - you will have a great time
-
I will claim my free drink over that wekend then sjl!!
-
Which fixtures are you hoping to get to this year Lupus? Lupus = DreamTeam = Lupus
-
I guess that would be the new ETAP hotel that has only just opened. Cheap and cheerful but you dont need much more thatn that really.
-
Good Luck Wayne - you are going to need it. Oh the stories I could tell!!!!!!! and possibly will for the right money
-
Good. I hope you have some Pins again this year Steve. I lost my 2006 one! And the stupid part is - its some where in New York!! It fell of my jacket either in my hotel or on the streets!! Bloomin Yanks - They never gave it back to me!!
-
We chose Essen as it only a short distance from Gelsenkirchen, so we would get back to the hotel - Mercure (chosen as it has a bar!!) and do a little bit of drinking!! It also has a pool!! But there is still time for this to change!! Speigal - Im not worried about parking in Essen - I was wondering what the parking is like in Gelsenkirchen around the stadium. Sorry if I confuzzled you.
