Medical personnel don't have the authority to make a call on a meetings status unless they are short of medical cover at that time. Therefore it's hard to believe that what is being written here is true.

The only way these promotions will learn is to stop giving them money at the gate or for their sh*tty streams.

King’s Lynn vs Ipswich - Thurs 23rd May
hasta la vista replied to SuperStarsFan91's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Realistically it's Buster running it or it closes and not because he won't hand it over etc. There is no money in the sport now and crowds of 1200 don't break even anymore. Unless you are using the losses to offset taxes from another business you are just going to lose your personal money. Most business owners aren't going to bother doing this with speedway anyway, as it's so much aggravation and there are easier ways, why would you? The clubs that run now are all basically funded by rich businessmen who are speedway enthusiasts. Aren't many of those around. There is not a list of people queuing up to take over or run a UK speedway club. -
mind you still have an unpaid debt to the council for 6million quid

Witches v Lynn May 6th 2.15pm
hasta la vista replied to Arch Stanton's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Massive difference if you are in front or behind. Track was flooded in Gdansk on Sunday after a storm and NKI scored 0,0 whilst Klindt score 3,3 against Huckenbeck etc. It's never as black and white as you think and just about 'an ability to cope' -

I'm confused as plenty on here have said the track was fine and there was hardly any rain and it was safe to get to heat 10. Which one is actually true? -

just miss 5 races at the end instead... -
Since he won the world U21 title, Lidsey has totally stagnated and hardly progressed at all hence Leszno letting him go keeping Zengi and getting Lebedevs in for next season. He is good at BV though but the issue will be away at Leicester and Ipswich as him and Bewley struggle at both. Interesting to see how they go at Oxford.

Survival of The Premiership?
hasta la vista replied to Najjer's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I'm talking Extraliga, I live in Poland. Riders are not salaried. -
Don't worry about the tv operation, they pay next to nothing now as the latest contract was negotiated in absolute desperation by the BSPL. This is why no one wants to run on a tv night as there is no money to compensate for a small crowd which used to be the case with the old Sky deals. All pretty obvious if you take a step back and look at why someone like buster does all he can not to run on a Monday night and on tv.

I'm not sure where you get your info from as it's normally incorrect but literally no riders over here are salaried, they get paid per point. What they get is a lump signing on fee that is paid before the season and is meant to be used to pay for equipment ie engines. There is no ongoing monthly salary payment as you claim. Some riders also get signing on fees in the UK but they are much smaller obviously.
