  1. Glad you got back to Poland safe from the UK. It was nice meeting you and hope you enjoyed the UK. All the best at Uni. JD
  2. It has already been confirmed Hans points do not count in the final standings he cannot be seeded by finishing in the top 8 as he failed to qualify this year. It is in the FIM rules of the event. Peter Karlsson will be 1st reserve for next year.
  3. With Jagus qualifying Janusz can kiss the GP series goodbye for another year. I would not be surprised to see Loram picked as GBs 2nd wild card rider.
  4. I would imagine Janusz would gain a wild card if he fails to ride as a direct replacement for Pepe if he fails to finish in the top3. I have two differing ideas why Rico did not do the qualifers. First is that they will struggle to justify seeding him next year if he failed in the qualifers and therefore will probably gain a place again as 2nd best brit if Bomber or Howe fails to qualify. Secondly it maybe that Lee now is at the stage of this career where he is no longer improving and will now settle for a longer richer career in league racing away from the pressures of GP.
  5. Ref was Milan Spinka from Czech Republic. Same move that Danny Bird pulled at Workington on Richie Hawkins and they wanted him lynched for that move too.
  6. I thought the track tonight held up well to 25 heats of speedway, super smooth and considering all the rain a very raceable surface. Well done the track staff.
  7. I would go for 4 man teams and a fifth rider as reserve that can take upto 6 rides if a rider is injured or the team is 6 points behind. This would ensure a team picks their best 4 riders as the team. It will also make teams like USA and Finland more competitive.
  8. Something to do with the fact the grass banking is not stepped terracing. Seems you cannot be expected to stand or sit on a non level slope!
  9. If you go to a concert normally there are no kids tickets only adult prices. Saturday will be a sell out and i understand there was a limited amount of Kids tickets that have already been sold. The advanced ticket combined deal of £35 was cracking value maybe more people should have opted for that up front instead of waiting and seeing. I believe the original capacity quoted by H&S was 6000 - 6500 people. When this was reduced a few weeks ago to around 3300. The kids allocation was also reduced in line with it and hence the allocation was sold out.
  10. They are replacing the round-a-bout with traffic lights. Deep joy.
  11. I would go with in Poland 1Scott Nicholls 2Chris Harris 3Lee Richardson 4Mark Loram 5Chris Louis / Simon Stead For Reading 1Scott Nicholls 2Chris Harris / Danny Bird / David Norris 3Lee Richardson 4Mark Loram 5Chris Louis Stead is a big no no at Reading but good for the bigger Polish track. Bird and Norris no Polish experience so do not risk. Louis should be included based on experience and merit, he is one of the few Brits in form. Harris is not a good enough gater for Reading and although rides the track quite well i cannot see him passing GP stars there. Bird is still one of the few sub 60 second riders at Reading however not riding EL will count against him. I honestly believe he would be a 7 point rider if full time EL this year for Reading.
  12. This was first brought up in the winter that it was Wroclaw last year with more than likely Czestochowa replacing it given the great stadia. Russia was also mooted as a new venue for 2007 and a completed Gorican to either add to the series replace Krsko in 2008.
