Bristol! No, seriously, you will have to try out in the towns and villages in the Valleys around Cardiff as anything near the City centre will be booked solid. Try for hotels/b+b's in Penarth. Nice area and you can get back there on the train after the GP

Erm, there lies the problem. There are no trains to anywhere much beyond Newport after about 8pm. At the moment the last train to London is 2025 if i remember correctly and that won't take you direct to Oxford! Summer timetable won't be much better either.

Matt Depends on where you are staying. If you are staying in Cardiff or Newport, then the train is best. The stadium is very close. It would only take about ten minutes to walk to the farthest point.

Last year most of us met up at the Prince of Wales which is cheap and near the stadium. Beware of booking hotels in Cardiff, most of them will only do TWo night packages. I work for Thomas Cook and I couldn't get anything!!! Ends up that I'm staying in Newport with the rest of the Shalewhale clan.
