Okay, thanks for that. Is t confirmed anywhere what Freddie's average would be ? I have seen 10 something quoted but that seems low.

What have I missed ?

Its all to do with Cradley, if they weren't blocking alternate Mondays we could have fitted in rained-off meetings earlier in the season. This situation was forecast by Wolves fans before the season started!
-
Actually the biggest laugh today was when somebody moaned about Wolves racing alternate weeks when there are only enough meetings to race every other week already; that may change next year or some stupid formula where team play one team four time but other teams twice during the season. I cannot believe that that was ever tried in the first place. The moan, and rightly so, was because of the squatters that we have from Cradley, also riding fortnightly meaning very few, if any spare dates. Proof of the pudding was that we had to run a double-header to complete our fixtures. Now if the spoons weren't there, it wouldn't have been a problem.

We had fortnightly speedway at Wolves this year due to the cradley cuckoos. I did not like it. And we did have the rain-off situation.

Belle Vue Vs Wolves, Grand Final 2nd Leg, 5/10/16...

And finally to wrap it all up. To Paul Smith, Belle Vue Aces rider of 1993. It took a long time, but we finally got some reparation (partial) for 1993. So up yours Smithy ! -
As Pearson is a dyed in the wool spoon, he's married one for god's sake, then I have absolutely no reason to listen to any of his B.S. regarding the Wolves. I bet he's still boiling inside after our victory in the final. Great !

So what is his preference ?

1996 for a Wolves fans was unreal as we won the double. When we got to the cup final Monmore Green was unavailable due to the changes being made to the greyhound track. So we had to choose a neutral venue. Most fans thought we would choose Kirky lane, but we didn't ! We chose Long Eaton and won the cup on aggregate after effectively having two away legs ! -

As a Wolves fan, I'm not counting any chickens. I'm not expecting many points from Karlsson and Clegg. So I hope Howarth has learnt to ride the place...................................................................... -

As most people at greyhounds never go onto the terraces perhaps they are just taking about grandstand/restaurant capacity ! In the dreaded 1996 match there seemed to be about 10,000 there ! -
Teams announced on Wolves web-site:- 1. Lindgren 2.Karlsson 3.HARRIS 4. Woffinden 5. Masters 6. Clegg 7. Howarth 1. Holder 2. Kurtz 3. Lindback 4. Buczkowski 5. Tungate 6. Ellis 7. Newman For me the 12 point lead is unsurmountable, the key being the Poole reserves. They could quite easily take the two reserves heats by 5-1. If that happens in heat 2, then it's all over, game, set and match to Poole. A genuine question about rules, if the tie is level after 30 heats then is it a run-off ?
