  1. That makes perfect sense.. very happy if announced GOOD MORNING TIGERS FANS! We are delighted to welcome talented teenager Jack Parkinson-Blackburn to the team for 2017! More from 8am.
  2. If that average is correct Brady is an absolute steal and should break the bank to get him, Will be highest average number one in Championship with Sheffield as his home track
  3. When did Brady Kurtz suddenly go from 9.22 to 7.65 ?? http://www.speedwaygb.co/files/downloads/pl16_issue_24.pdf http://www.speedwaygb.co/files/downloads/pl16_issue_23.pdf
  4. So am i correct that he wont be a 5, i know some riders eg Mason Campton had to take a 5 even though he hadn't achieved this but when Arthur returned last season came in on his previous average
  5. Is there a link to the listing, Shows on final declaration was 3.79 and i also thought he had uk licence as he doesnt have visa issues
  6. but there 2 pointers for a reason, they have failed to obtain a proper average in the premier league having gained an official average... can you see them improving ?? but a newcomer on 3 is still a gamble but should be some improvement
  7. If you add sergeant thats only 4.97 left...
  8. If you go with that top 3 , Assuming Hume on a 2 and a newcomer at 3 thats 29.23 leaves 10.77 for the last 2 riders... 40 points is a crippler... if you take nearly a 1/4 of your points with a 10 point man it leaves very little room
  9. All Press releases are very clear.... If a rider has ridden in the premier league and achieved an average under 3 they will continiue with that average, Josh Bailey, Nathan Geaves etc... Any newcomers who have not achieved an official premier league average will be a 3... JPB, Jack Smith etc
  10. Wasnt overly impressed when i first read it but now think this could be a masterstroke on that average, will hopefully put at least a point on that and maybe get back to his 8 plus average. 40 Points is tricky and i can see a lot of teams building without a number 1 I dont want Josh but he will be a definite signing so will include him in my below : Howarth - 7.18 Dimi - 6.91 Bjerre - 6.65 Bates - 5.02 Schlein or Holder - 7.17 or 7.16 Sissis - 3.79 JPB - 3.00 = 39.72 I think Rory would be an amazing signing on that average and would be the experience and captain to carry us forward
  11. So are we also saying the stadium is not used on a daily basis ? Everyone talks about speedway but as far as i was aware the top class facilities were made available for corporate/Business hire and functions Weddings/Parties etc, surely that should provide a reasonable regular income if managed correctly, Room Hire, profit on banqueting and more to the point Bar takings.. We have to remember this was not just a speedway stadium but a multi use multi purpose venue !! Will be watching this closely as there clearly was money coming in ! https://www.companiesintheuk.co.uk/ltd/b-v-arena https://companycheck.co.uk/company/07608471/B-V-ARENA-LIMITED/companies-house-data https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/07608471/filing-history
  12. 2 home 2 away = 36 meetings in league
  13. Thats surely the final nail in the Elite Coffin... One big British league with the NL running slightly larger with Plymouth and maybe a few others
  14. Sheffield = https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/02721528/filing-history
  15. Steady stated some tough decisions over the Winter... Surely Sheffield cant give him that time anyway, Most teams will start rebuilding this week after the AGM and leagues and points confirmed.. All teams will move fast for there Number ones and build there team around them. Hope Jason is back but sounds unlikely reading other posts. I would start with Sissis & JPB at reserve as Arthur needs to come and start a full season with new machinery, this for me is his make or break season. Kyle Howarth should be nailed on along with Dimi and i personally would let Josh move to a tight track to gain experience to help his progress. Would love Brady Kurtz and Jack Holder to be in any team that Sheffield build
  16. We traveling up on m1 Derbyshire and it's throwing it down with sky full all around,
  17. Any weather updates, Dry in Derby but rain at Junction 28 of M1
  18. Thursday nights in front of the TV starts now... My £30 for admission and petrol plus the hassle of going straight from work so being out the house at 7.30am till 10.30pm is a thing of the past... Newcastle will win both legs and im guessing next weeks attendance will reflect how people feel about how poor its got at sheffield
  19. The most important decision for next seaso is the team manager... We need someone who understands how it works... We always give it a mate rather than someone who can actually do the job... If we lose Jason Garrity over our shambles of a team management then thats me done with it.. Also the track is shocking... there hasnt been a pass in months...
  20. I dont get this clamour for Simon to retire... He is averaging 8.5, he is the current premier league champion and is the only rider to beat the British champion Danny King at Ipswich in over 40 races... Simon seems to have had a few issues with bikes and setups this year but is still on a 2016 GSA after 27 meetings and 123 races 8.42including an away average of 7.92 which is probably as good as any other number 1 in the premier league. Will update my team later as really dont know how to change it for the better.. 2 riders who should NOT be in the Sheffield 7 are Josh Bates and Nathan Greaves
  21. Would Jarek Hampel fancy it ?? still 4 GP's left and Poland and Sweden season already over for him so would appreciate the track time
  22. If Brady is not declared in a premier league team wouldn't his EL Average count ?? That would make his average too high to replace Josh ? Happy to be told im wrong but just working on whats happened previously
  23. If it does rain whats the situation as no spare day to run race off and final ?
