  1. I have some GM cams with an "A" prefix followed by a number - does anyone know who they are done by? And on the subject of cams, does anyone know any others and where I can get info on them? I know the P series are standard GM cams and I have some tornado cams stamped with an "S" but I'm just interested what and who does what?
  2. I have a brand new GM OFFC (one practice, never raced) Lots of special parts £2750 Will post abroad If you can find an engine of this spec cheaper, it is probably fallen off the back of a lorry!! info@robracing.co.uk 07904 123519

  4. I can't really see this happening IF it is a way of getting into the sport cheaply etc etc. There are no engines readily available, there are no frames really readily available, the engines I agree will need less servicing, but not that much less overall and all the ancillary components will push the price up-look at the cost of a new decent mx rad. Then what will happen is people will want to go faster, so you just start the tuning cycle again which happens in EVERY form of motorsport as the goal is to win-the price starts going up and up. I have seen these bikes a few times and tbh I was surprised that the riders managed to stay on it!! If however it is an alternative form of speedway not an alternative to speedway, then good luck with it and I hope it goes well. Just don't keep pretending that it is a cheaper form of speedway as it quite clearly isn't.

  6. Good meeting last night. There are some more of these meetings at Lakeside and worth the £5 entrance fee and would recommend to anyone. Well done to my nephew Jamie Couzins who has had very little riding this year with no competitive action at all and last night scored a very deserved 11 points.
  7. Was really just a general observation and couldn't work out why NT matches didn't count. I was at Kent Kings on Monday and 2 riders stuck out average wise for different reasons. Steve Boxall who is on a massive average and Adam Ellis currently on a 3 point average due to his age etc etc. It will be interesting to see how the teams/averages pan out after the 4 NL meetings, but it might be the end of the season at this rate which makes a bit of a mockery of it all.
  8. And further to my original question then, I'm assuming NT matches don't count - or do they? When is the first date for the first changes to come into effect?
  9. Does anyone know of any WH Smith in the South East that are taking it?
  10. What are the rules regarding averages and when do they change? And what happens to the 3 pointers? i.e. do they stay on 3 points for the season or do they then get an average after so many meeetings? I have heard about 3 different versions so far!

  12. Fantastic stadium for speedway, but I'm sorry the track is awful in shape and surface. Can't understand the thinking behind shutting off access to the 3rd and 4th bends-can anyone from the management enlighten? I know the surface needs to settle down, but it is plainly obvious that there is no real base-a thin layer of chalk and loose shale on top isn't ever going to produce a surface conjusive to decent racing. I really hope that they do something with it, but I can't see how they can now the season has started. To be fair, making a new track in the timescale and the awful weather hasn't helped. The track is also too narrow going into and out of the corners. They need to bring it in about 2-3 yards on the entrance and exit of the corners. It wouldn't be such an issue if the corners were wider and there was some banking on the corners, but there isn't any. Edit.. Who posted on here about Boxall not being on it, must be watching someone else-he is by far one talented lad and could easily be riding at a higher level. And the decision by the ref to exclude Kirby (I think it was) in Heat 14 is one of the most laughable decisions I have seen in a long while!!
  13. Does anyone have a number for DLG? The number I have just rings and rings! I'm told they are still going, but if anyone has any info to the contrary, would be appreciated. Thanks Rob C
  14. This series is the best thing to happen to British Speedway in a long time. It gives young British riders a platform to progress in the sport with competitive racing. In 5 years time I think we will start to see the fruit from the hard work put in by the likes of Neil Vatcher and Phil Morris with a fair few lads coming through to the professional side of the sport.
  15. Looking for a few engines. Jawa, GM 250/500 Email me details including long or short stroke, age, and any servicing etc info@robracing.co.uk
  16. Trick was way ahead of the game with innovation, but Straight rear ends have been around for ages (look at old Rudge and Japs) just another someone good uses it, the sheep will follow! I have got 12 year olds wanting to buy Blixt carbs off me because that's what Chris Holder uses etc and they can't ride a bike properly yet! As for WSB and Moto GP being the way to go-was talking to an ex decent ish rider who told me he retired as to get to the next level in BSB he would need to find an extra million!!
  17. I have got a Black Nicki Pedersen type and new 1st glass 2013 rear spec in black. Nicki P type, new & never fitted but is a seconds. email at info@robracing.co.uk if you are interested and want more details etc
