Over the past few years, its been common knowledge a whole host of clubs have tried to sign him in the PL - but Im led to believe his wage demands were far greater than his ability.
Aye, superb race, and a superb ride. Shame that was about the only ride that he scored any points in for us, before retiring after a hand full of meetings after averaging about 2.00.
No it doesn't at all - It reveals 6 of the riders being spoken to with a view to a team place. Franchetti has just said he wants to return. Any rider without a team place would be daft to not ring around a few teams and put his name about. He could have said that to every team in the league for all we know.
In that newspaper report, it says nothing of the sort that Gino Franchetti may be signing. He says the rider himself has expressed an interested to return to the team.
What, like Mildenhall 2008?
Surprised no one has mentioned Johnston. I never got an answer on a previous thread, but is he now actually a Birmingham asset then? At the start of the year we were told he was brought from Somerset, but we were also told Birmingham brought Newman.
Surely Birmingham are looking at Lyons and if he's an asset, Johnston as the teams top 2?
The irony...
Following him? As his personal speaker, you need to get over yourself, or Malcolm for that matter.
I've posted on two subjects where Malcolm has been involved. Once where they tracked an illegal side, and this one now which involves a former Somerset rider.
Whoooooooosh!
If you don't like it, why read it? Put us on block if you feel so passionately about it, that way everybody is happy.
You know what they say about people with...
My picture is in the Somerset programme. By all means the next time you are at Somerset, come and find me if you want to speak that much.
I might even grow a little ponytail and wear a wulfsport coat to mark the occasion too!
Vissing?
Nermark?
Ruud?
Alden?
Ljung?
I'd hazard a guess they'd all fit, just depends how much Stoke wish to pay. With the signing of Tomicek, one would hazard a guess at not very much.
But that isn't a true reflection as Tomicek has ridden 1 meeting for you. He had a decent first meeting for us and then was useless. If he misses the gate he has no hope, as he never moves more than a few inches from the white line and gets a nose bleed when he gets within a few feet of another rider.
