  1. Wonder what exciting announcement Buster has up his sleeve? He’s sold the club? He’s got a new pit gate? The sun is out for the next 7 days so there is a chance the match might go ahead next week? Simon Lambert has been signed to replace Palm Toft? He’s the messiah after rescuing Peterborough speedway? I’m glad he didn’t announce this last night as I don’t know how I would of slept last night through the excitement.
  2. Of course, call me a cynic, but Musielak only take 3 rides had nothing to do with the fact he ran a last place and was replaced by the junior Szostak who was flying all match…. Quoted from Polish media: “The first two races were very good, in the end he won four points and two bonuses. Later, he remembered his leg injury from last season and eventually gave up his fourth condition so as not to aggravate the pain.”
  3. Birmingham -2 after heat 8 -4 after heat 15 Masters over Harris at decent odds Fricke under 11
  4. It’s results like this which show why they should still have the losing bonus point - as Kings Lynn have performed well and got absolutely nothing to show for it now.
  5. -16 for me, especially given the way Belle Vue are going at home
  6. As a permenent replacement, there is no reason why that can’t happen.
  7. You can normally move flights to another date, up to a point though, which I’m not sure what the cut off is for that.
  8. It’s not a track that would typically suit him or his riding style. He is much better suited to riding a big fast track week in week out.
  9. Fair play to Buster, he really is running Banter Speedway Club with the sole aim of pi$$ing off any of the last surviving fans that he’s still got. You have to admire his balls.
  10. It’s all well and good having a ‘strong’ reserve but isn’t much use if it only lasts for a month. At the same time, it’s not much use if the riders in the main body aren’t performing either. Oxford have already proved this. There is no guarantees that Lampart is going to score much better at reserve than he has in the main body of the side, the same as Milik. I do however, think that Milik could still do a job for somebody on the right track. Him and Birmingham was never going to be a match made in heaven. Milik for Howarth would potentially work and I’m sure he would be decent around Sheffield after a couple of matches. My fear is now he’s qualified for the SEC, he doesn’t really want British leagues. There is a chance Piotr Pawlicki follows suit too.
  11. They started at 4/5 but odds have tumbled -8 for me all day long
  12. He signed for Somerset in the then Premier League and never looked back - a real story of how he went on to become British Champion
  13. Here here. I’ve tried to refrain from commenting on this thread for some time but the utter disrespect and disregard honestly makes me sick, more so after his second post. The blame game of others and arrogance around some of his wording like “that’s impressive” - There is nothing impressive when it comes to recording young boys/girls on beaches and people in toilets. The sheer arrogance to come waltzing back into this forum shows he is deluded. I have a child and this sort of offence and anything of the like, is what I see to be the worst of the VERY worst. I would go to the end of the world to protect my son from people like that, contaminating our earth.
  14. I’m going to presume a massive oversight on Chapman’s behalf in that he’s only just realised the Poles are already booked in for that evening - which he’s now trying to backtrack and lie about to cover his own behind.
  15. Unfortunately whenever there is a rider missing for whatever reason, it should NEVER make the team stronger than it was before. This is where the UK speedway set up is so wrong in that it insists on making guests more appealing than ever before.
  16. It turns out the Polish federation actually announced these dates at the tail end of January - so it shouldn’t be a big surprise to anybody.
  17. So basically the BSPL said don’t postpone it and Buster carried on anyway.
  18. There are many promotors with many faults in this country, but Chris Louis ranks up there with one of the best. Instead of getting the begging bowl out, sometimes it goes a long way when it hasn’t quite gone to plan to show your appreciation for those who have spent their hard earned dosh.
  19. What’s interesting is that 2 weeks ago, a member of this forum posted in the international section saying about the 4 quarter finals to be held on this date, before Kings Lynn’s last home match. It’s interesting the timing of this announcement after Woyldo scored a maximum in the last match. Would it be the same stance if he had scored 2 or 3? It absolutely stinks to postpone a match because there is one rider missing, regardless of how much notice has or hasn’t been given.
  20. What use is that today in the Premiership? There is a reason that for a couple of years at least Zagar has started the season without a Premiership and Polish club - purely because he asks for too much money vs his scoring ability.
  21. As has already been stated, it is not the bottom league of Poland at all. The standard is actually very good and features several Premiership ‘stars’ in the league like Kurtz, Holder, Tungate, Klindt, Musielak etc to just a few, plus Grand Prix rider Kai Huckenbeck. Because he wasn’t good enough first time around, Luke Becker has just been dropped by his team over there too - that shows you the type of standard that it is.
  22. Yeah probably get a 90 day ban in November
  23. Couldn’t agree with all of your points any more if I tried.
