  1. Ive ignored Adam Ellis over 7 now but King +1 over Lawson seems a very good shout to me
  2. Completely missed that... should be easy in that case!
  3. Would stay clear of that as they’ve both been rubbish. Adam Ellis over 7 and King +1 over Lawson for me I think
  4. I’m tempted by Ljung under 8 - decent odds at 11/8 too. He looked absolutely awful earlier this year in Poland. Even with an easier run of heats I can’t see him scoring too highly.
  5. What compost has said is right - there is slim to no chance of it happening. Huge parts of the surrounding area has been developed in some way or another that is linked to the new Hinckley point power station works that are ongoing and for years to come. Much more value in redevelopment for housing, hotels and industrial units in this area now than there is for a speedway track.
  6. If you’re referring to riders, there is very few that hold any value nowadays. All the likes of Sam Masters, Jake Allen etc was sold on years ago
  7. Keep an eye on Doyle at -1 over Michelson in play - still the potential with 6 rides if he takes heats 14 and 15
  8. Good shout - although always need to be brave to bet against Leszno!
  9. There isn’t much jumping out on the Esktraliga but I fancy Doyle exactly and under 10. Decent odds at 29/20 too. He’s not been on top form and two tricky last heats with Laguta/Sayfutdinov and then the nominated. I’m just not sure I can see him scoring 11
  10. I fancy Broc Nicol off scratch at evens over Anders Rowe too. Nicol was superb last week
  11. I thought the same! Still tempted by Cierniak -3 over Pludra too Rasmus Jensen under 9 potentially for Gdansk too
  12. A shame really as Zagar was superb for most of last year and looked really settled at Lublin - not so much at Zielona Gora!
  13. I’ve gone with Laguta -2 over Zagar at evens which I thought was pretty good odds. Laguta with the tougher heats but well capable of beating anybody. As an outside bet, Cierniak -3 over Pludra is decent odds too
  14. Two more and one tied handicap.... I got Gorzow at -6 before heat 14 too, all in all another successful evening!
  15. Even with his recent dire form, when you look at his heats tonight you’d fancy Holder to score over 5 at evens too
  16. Lindgren exactly and under 11? Jasinski -2 over Lewandowski?
  17. Any bets on Batchelor tonight, easy money!
  18. Danny King +1 over Batchelor at 8/11 represents great value I think
  19. Potentially 7 rides in it for him... although I highly expect he could take 12 rides and still not score over 12! Seems a good shout to me
  20. Rubbish. I’m fairly certain that riders in Poland are being required to submit their covid test in Poland 24 hours before their matches. That means, he must be in Poland on Thursday to test to be able to ride Friday. I’m not saying it’s right but that’s the way it is. Peoole quoting Britain getting priority on a Thursday and then bowing down to the Poles are deluded. This again is a knock on effect to the balls up to the team building rules set out. Anybody riding in the Esktraliga shouldn’t of been allowed to ride in this country due to the commitments of Friday fixtures in Poland. No Esktraliga riders and 6 man teams for this year.
  21. Would be interesting to hear his take on things. It wasn’t that long ago he was on the radio saying about assembling a team for next year as Somerset would be back and would be looking to hold the pairs this year. Maybe he’s been strung along like everybody else when it was pretty clear what was happening? I expect to see him back at Poole fairly soon. Good luck to him as he’s one of the most astute team managers about.
  22. The sentiment is effectively “we’re closing - we aren’t saying anymore about it.” - that doesn’t come across very well to be honest. Especially when everybody who has been associated with the club has been thanked.... except the ones who kept the club going, the fans.
  23. It’s tragic really when you think over the last 20 years or so, the loss of Trelawny, Exeter, Newport, Reading, Swindon and now Somerset. That was one of the main cores of the league back in 2002/2003. Some great times visiting those places.
