  1. Seemed bizarre that Jack Holder isn’t representing Toruń, but there must be a logical reason.
  2. Out of interest, how were the riders for this meeting picked? I assume teams put forward the riders they wanted to represent them.
  3. An interesting article that I've only just come across, which was posted before the weekend: Swindon team manager Alun Rossiter is worried Troy Batchelor’s confidence could be hit by being left out in the cold by Polish side Rybnik. The PGE Ekstraliga newcomers have won just one of their opening meetings against basement club Gorzow and are one of the favourites for relegation. Despite the team misfiring, Batchelor has made just one appearance so far this season – taking just one ride at Grudziadz on June 23, finishing at the back, before being dropped for the rest of the meeting. Having seen Batchelor finish second in the SGB Premiership averages and form a title-winning partnership with Jason Doyle at Swindon last season, Rossiter is baffled that Rybnik won’t turn to the former FIM Speedway Grand Prix star. The club is set to operate rider replacement for the injured Andzejs Lebedevs at home to Leszno this evening rather than draft in Batchelor. The former GB boss understands Batchelor is defeating team mates in practice races, so he’s stunned he isn’t being selected to compete in the PGE Ekstraliga. He said: “He’s in Poland and having a hard time. He is beating people in practice races and saying ‘what do I need to do? Win it by a straight?’ I don’t know what’s going on there. “He has paid for 17 tyres to go out in practice and do the sparring heats. They put the tapes down and he wins the races. But he’s still not in the team. They gave him one ride, dropped him and didn’t pick him again. “For me as a Swindon manager, I’m worried I am going to get a rider back who isn’t riding and could be a bit scarred from it all. “I just don’t understand their mentality. There are a lot of good clubs, but obviously there are some very strange clubs that have a different mentality of how they go about things. “He has been absolutely fantastic. For the last two years he has been absolutely on the money for me. “This is not Troy talking. This is me talking as his manager at Swindon. I am absolutely baffled how they can treat him like this.”
  4. Jack was in it the whole meeting. Gorzow have pulled a blinder getting him in, but it’s a shame the rest of the team aren’t on it.
  5. Holder absolutely superb. What a cracking rider he is to watch.
  6. Holder apart, Gorzow have been absolutely gutless so far.
  7. Doyle being jeered by the Częstochowa fans - ruthless!
  8. I understand the rules are that races can’t be awarded if the last lap hasn’t been started, but that must typifies what a joke of a rule that is, when a team conceding a 5-1 has a rider fall, races gets rerun and they get a 3-3 from it. Don’t agree with that at all. If Lublin don’t win this now they’ve been really hard done by.
  9. What’s the bets on Madsen jumping out the start and getting a win here? Lublin 1 turn away from securing at least a draw.
  10. After being jeered earlier on, substituted in that last race, it’s not been a good afternoon for Jason Doyle. He’s going to need to try and redeem himself in the nominated race.
  11. I called that earlier this week. Kasprzak has been very poor so far this season so Jack Holder is a good addition for Gorzow.
  12. When he’s in the mood, Laguta is so good to watch. Absolutely ruthless and totally fearless.
  13. Because of the race formula used, certain riders end up with two rides on the trot much like in the grand prixs. It makes sense to have the track grades then whilst extra time is given to those riders having two on the bounce. I thought Grudziadz were pretty poor as a team after a decent start, Laguta and Bjerre apart. Pedersen was disappointing and clearly didn’t fancy it.
  14. Agree to disagree on this one. I’m not saying Batchelor is a world beater but he would possibly offer up another point scoring option, which Rybnik really need. Miedzinski certain isn’t a point scoring option anymore in my eyes
  15. Take Lebedev out for Batchelor. Use Lambert to replace Miedzinski then. You’d think they have nothing to lose really.
  16. I wonder why they still don’t use Batchelor. Miedzinski has had his day.
  17. Rohan Tungate set to line up in Poland this weekend for the first time. Is he still selling those Peterborough Kevlars?
  18. You'd have to think that Jack Holder will come in for either Wozniak or Kasprzak, after his dire start to the year.
  19. A case of so close yet so far... Pedersen being passed by Michelson and Ljung winning a race from nowhere stuffing me up. We will try again...
  20. Totally agree. Pedersen should of well and truly shut the door but is probably abit more aware of crashing and getting injured nowadays.
  21. I thought the same. It’s been a number of years since I watched a meeting from there but tonight’s shows it hasn’t lost any of its magic. What a track
  22. 3 out of the 8 teams have signed somebody currently. I expect that to probably rise too.
  23. Going off memory, isn't that 1 point in 3 meetings that Fricke has scored now? He looks so slow and way down on confidence. Worrying times for him and Wroclaw.
  24. I don’t envy anybody whose bet on Kasprzak - he might come good but you’d have to be brave to rely on him!
