Except they weren't expecting a speedway track at the bottom of the garden - they were expecting it to be moved - so if someone wanted to be difficult I'm sure they could and will be. Exeter managed for many years in the middle of a housing estate but I really don't understand the logic of building houses so close to a motor sport/greyhound venue. I certainly wouldn't want the pits in the bottom of my garden!

Not disagreeing about Poole and not suggesting that BV are seasoned cheats but BV (the club not promotion) were caught cheating and were deducted points.

That is the biggest load of sh!te I have read for a while! I believe that if you asked Joe Public (who are not speedway fans) about famous Speedway teams, they would probably mention Belle Vue, Wimbledon, White City and even Coventry before they would think about Poole! Yes, Poole have had good successes in the last decade but no way on earth can you compare that to the history of Belle Vue. Anyone who agrees with you is either a troll or deluded. Simple as that really!

I'm not so sure it is a profitable business - even for Poole. The number of tracks are ever reducing, crowds are dropping across the country and the league continues to be diluted so because it has been profitable in the past does not mean that it will be profitable in the future. As has been said many times before, it is all well and good putting your club first but if you do not look at the bigger picture you end up being the best team in a league of dwindling numbers until you are the only team left - won't be profitable then. Picking up on a previous post where many have said that Matt is a great promoter and it would be great if they were all like him - I am pretty sure the vast majority of them would be Poole supporters because I haven't heard many others saying this.

I didn’t say he was an angel but his posts are normally interesting about speedway except that he lets certain posters wind him up and then he goes off on one. I have suggested in the past that he ignores SS but he is unable to and both continually wind each other up. Let’s stick to speedway and leave the squabbling for another Facebook. C’mon the Rebels!

I think that’s enough - you are supposed to attack the post - not the poster and I find this really offensive
