  1. I don’t believe he is a Poole hater - I think he is an SS hater and you seem to thrive on this - winding him up at every opportunity. No need to keep repeating his personal life either - best to stick to speedway or where you are going on “holiday” after the semis Just my opinion.
  2. Not getting at Swindon (because they say it is better than the agreed BSPA rate) but no wonder people don’t see Speedway as VFM!! 15 heats in a meeting and it costs joe public £11 to watch 6 heats (of poor racing because of the rain) and the remaining 9 heats are only worth £6!! Really?!?!?! There can’t be much more room to put another nail in the coffin of British Speedway.
  3. Hadn’t noticed - thanks. I will still go for KL v Somerset final
  4. I’m still trying to work out how Fricke managed to win heat 13. Absolutely brilliant race. That is what speedway should be serving up in the majority of races across the country and you would see crowds increase as a result.Fantastic . Good luck to KL (who I predicted would be bottom) and Somerset - neither have won the top league. I now think both BV and Poole won’t make the final (Assuming KL aren’t stupid enough to pick the Rebels) but in the playoffs - anything can happen so nothing is certain. My pick for league champions are Somerset!
  5. No club has discounted televised meetings this year - as I’m sure you are aware!
  6. If someone sets up a funding page and others support it and contribute then that is down to them. If you choose not to contribute then that is down to you but banning them is OTT imho.
  7. Swindon were predicted to finish bottom last season and look what happened there!
  8. A lot of concern for Doyle by Poole fans - wonder why that is?
  9. Oops - I knew it was Tigers he was released from - just the wrong ones! My bad!
  10. No they don’t - one person mentioned it. No point in doing anything now even if it was possible. What Jack needed was regular CL racing but that went when Glasgow released him. NL is currently his level and some experience in the CL would have helped him but not ready for PL - as his scores suggest.
  11. They only need 1 league point and are more than capable of achieving that. If they don’t (and that’s unlikely) then they again only need a point against Swindon having picked up all 4 a couple of weeks ago!
  12. I think both Somerset and Rye House came up at the same time. Leicester just before the two
  13. Somerset were given Doyle this season - hardly shafted
  14. They certainly do - glug!glug!glug! Whereas Swindon decided to do that before the playoffs! (Just anticipating the obvious retort!)
  15. How many teams have had to arrange double headers this season and how many have had/are having a second double header - just the one #justsaying
  16. 6 points ! The reasons for this are two fold: 1. Swindon started off well and ran out of steam for the latter part of the season. 2. Poole have had key riders riding gash for large parts of the season (average manipulation?) allowing Poole to operate a revolving door policy until they were happy with the team they had and then the poor performing riders started performing (coincidence? I think not) Anyway on current form Poole will make the playoffs and Swindon won’t and I think that reflects their current performances in the league and I accept that.
  17. Wow - a number one rider with an average less than 7. I can't say I've ever seen that before.
