Hahaha - they are not identical at all! And much more professional than bibs!

Thankfully you're not

I see (from Twitter) that Darcy is disappointed that Poole won't have team race suits this season.
-
The Glasgow meeting had great crowds when it was on tv and created a fantastic atmosphere and was an excellent advert for the sport
-
I can't imagine anyone being against team race suits. Can you imagine putting out a football team with players wearing different strips? When they were first introduced I thought finally the sport was being taken seriously by promoters and to not have them now is a backward step IMHO.
-
It used to be that you couldn't have a facility for someone who hasn't actually ridden in the team yet - is that still the case?

Which rider is to improve the most in 2018
Steve0 replied to ProudtobeaBrummie's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
The only surprise for me is if Davey lasts past the first set of team averages! Happy to be proved wrong but in all the years he has been here - he hasn't improved to hold down a PL place (or even a CL place) -
So why not release attendance figures? Something to hide? Creative accounting?
-
Are you suggesting that Speedway promoters are breaking the law by not paying the required amount of tax?
-
I didn’t say it was unfair - I said Kurtz was sh!te that night.
-
I seem to remember Kurtz being poor when riding there for Swindon last season and handed Belle Vue the KO Cup!

Speedway used to be after football as most supported sport in this country - it was certainly in the top 3! Where is it now? What steps are being taken to stop its decline and dropping crowds? Speedway is dying a slow, painful death in this country and without positive steps being implemented, it's decline will continue with only the few diehards left to support it. Unfortunately, the BSPAs solutions have been less than positive : annual dilution of the product, increase in prices, poor schedule planning leaving big gaps between meetings and then many meetings in the same week, too many "guest" riders, long drawn out meetings, too many race restarts and less value for money. The product is great but not enough "bigger picture" long term solutions and too much short term "fixes" as a result of self interest within the BSPA.

Absolutely brilliant - made me laugh

..and some are more equal than others!
-
Crump vs Adams - both were terrific riders. Both were good team men and Jason was more successful at individual level and there can be no dispute there IMHO. Who was the better rider? If just looking at WC's won then obviously Jason but it's not that simple. I would have either in my team as number 1 but would go with Adams if I had to choose.

How can it be that Morris is on a point less than Nicholls in the CL (for which Nicholls had no average) when Morris has a (much) better PL average. The rules continue to be a joke!!
-
You are definitely on the mend and the wind-up again. I am not jealous at all thanks very much, if you cant see that you have 4 riders on "false" averages then there is no hope for you. Yes - Matt has done his homework, yes it is within the rules but no - it doesn't make it right!
-
The are the bookies favourites and with no less than 3 ringers in the team (4 if you include Noddy) - it would be the biggest choke in speedway history if they don't win!
-
A designated thread? Really? Well it started off in the Poole thread which is where I read it and responded. I think it’s a bit disingenuous of you with regards Gavan so you must be on the mend. Just my opinion and back to speedway - if Poole don’t win the league at a canter then I will be very surprised.
-
They aren't employed until next month so not as if they can be forced to attend
-
Busy boy - as also pictured in Glasgow bonding with the team yesterday (that's when the picture was tweeted).

Two points a meeting in the Premiership isn't going to cover his costs I would have thought. He needs to ride at the lower level for his confidence and earning potential to afford to ride in the Premiership I'd have thought.
-
I don't agree - the last two seasons he has started off slowly in the first half of the season and improved in the second half (although didn't get to see out the second half of last season - which is why his average is lower). Remember, he started at KL on a 12+ average which was too high for Poole. If his average was in free fall,he would have had a much lower starting average and KL would have had more points to play with.

If an error has been made - then it would need to be corrected. If that means signing a new rider then so be it.

The problem with the top 2 teams from last season (Swindon and Wolves) is that they look weak at reserve this season. Only time will tell if the teams that start the season are the ones to finish it.
