  1. He may have been second in your averages but he rode at number 4 for a lot of the results I have just looked at - which I think is the point that is being made.
  2. Of course - with Mitchell being replaced by another Alpen Too weak at reserve until that change!
  3. Swindon signed a rider on a ridiculous average (Doyle) and they kept Morris who had a poor year the previous season. That's loyalty and I believe both would still be riding for Swindon this year if the BSPA conference hadn't voted for the ridiculous one over 8 rule. Not to mention Ellis - who had a poor start and was kept in the team!
  4. That's the same Brady Kurtz who guested for Doyley last season at the NSS in the KO Cup - and was worse than gash?
  5. How is it valid? You have two riders over 8 in your starting lineup - that isn’t valid
  6. Yawn! You just can’t help yourself
  7. Bring back Rosco and his mixed metaphors
  8. What a lot of tosh! Skidder's obviously having a slow day and trying to cheer himself up. Surprise, surprise that Lord fisherman jumped in to keep it going
  9. At the Gabba in Brisbane watching the 20/20 cricket instead?
  10. Can’t agree with this. Yes Brady has progressed quicker than Morris but another (current world champion) was the same and who would have thought Doyle would make the SGPs let alone dominate them for two years. If Morris continues like last year then he may surprise a few and even make progress in Poland. At this point in time, Brady certainly looks the better long term option but write Morris off at your peril!
  11. When did Swindon sign him? Somerset maybe!
  12. Except for Eddie “the driller” Kennett
  13. A bit unfair on Lakeside if they do - as they were planning to use both!
  14. Good luck to Doyley - back at Somerset where in all honesty is his spiritual home
  15. Been there before - it’s called the Poole precedence! Except not needed with Doyle signing
  16. It's beginning to look a lot like... a Dad's Army Coventry team. Can they fit Nicholls, Harris and KK? Guaranteed to win the title for ... the oldest team in the league (and can't see them having the stamina to make the playoffs).
  17. Errr - no issue over finance and your alternative view is all about finance! Confused.com!,
  18. So is this another example showing that Somerset should get Noddy on loan rather than a full transfer or just you muddying the waters? The example I used was justification for Poole not getting a transfer fee - no Swindon involvement and no dates about who did what first!
  19. This means absolutely jack! A few years ago, Swindon were looking to use Miedzinski and he went to Poole. Swindon demanded that this was a full transfer and Poole said no - a loan only. It went to arbitration and on loan he went - turning a valuable asset on a really low average into a worthless asset on a much higher average. So Poole can demand a fee but the precedence has been set and the boot is on the other foot now!
