  1. Well I've been a bit slow getting in on the act but I've just downloaded it, looking forward to giving it a go!
  2. No need to be angry there PC. Think this could be AJ's best opportunity this year to win a GP. If not him, then I say Hancock will take it.
  3. Well done Shawn, making someone cry. Hope you're happy!
  4. Well if it is the case that Hans actually finishes in the top 8, there's no way BSI can leave him out next year, they'd surely have to nominate him. Unless of course he qualifies the proper way, through the Qualifying Final, which is looking quite likely.
  5. Why thank you. Watched the Final yesterday as me dad taped it, and saw the incident. Looked to me that there was minimal contact at best, unfortunately someone has to go but in this instance it probably should have been Bomber. Tough to call really though, could go either way in my view. But for Harris to come out and say 'he took my leg away' is just lying really isn't it? He was nowhere near Bomber's leg.
  6. Is that a dig at the fact that a few Brits have actually (god forbid) gotten over 2004? Nothing wrong with being a fan of Hans Andersen in my view, seems like quite a few Arena fans dislike him but I've got a lot of time for him. There's no denying that he does some things that are questionable, but then so do other riders. It isn't like he's the Anti-Christ, yet some people almost seem to be portraying Hans as some sort of evil mastermind, hell bent on the destruction of Team GB and the elimination of his arch nemesis Scott Nicholls. Of course they can do wrong, I think some people are just fed up with him being singled out.
  7. Personally, I seriously doubt that a few more fans supporting Team GB would have made much difference. Why can some people not accept that the choice to support another country is that person's own, and that it is NONE of their business? I supported GB, of course I did, but to a small extent I supported Sweden because of Max and still cheered for Finland even though Kylmäkorpi missed the meeting through injury. People cheer their team's riders, there isn't anything wrong with that. There isn't anything wrong with supporting your own country, but I'm afraid it isn't your or anyone else's business to lecture someone on who they should or should not support. I doubt the riders mind, they have plenty of support. That frankly is not an excuse, we did well to finish 3rd and a few more fans would not have won us the meeting.
  8. Oh for crying out loud, will you get over it? Hans was hated everywhere last season for that so I think he's had more than enough payback in my view. And that didn't cost us the title, the fact that we BLEW IT cost us the title, due to a few little problems such as an imaginary red light and the fact that PK was untouchable all night! Scott wouldn't have passed him anyway, and did not Scott ALSO get past Hans? Well then! Will you just let it go? Absolutely disgusting post. YOU are the one that makes everyone else here feel sick, Garf has done sod all wrong whereas you my 'friend' have not only made a fool of yourself, but destroyed any sort of reputation you might have had and turned everyone against you. Comments on people from other countries like this have no place here; you want to say something like that, go on a BNP forum and join that bunch of knuckle-dragging lowlifes.
  9. My god this thread really has turned nasty. Saying you hope someone gets fenced or punched is bang out of order, but also others shouldn't rise to the bait, and attack the post instead of the poster. I'm also appalled to see practically racist comments against the Danes. You lot should bloody well calm down - frankly I'm pretty disgusted by some of the things being said.
  10. Let people support who they want to. Jumping on someone's back for supporting a team different to yours is bang out of order. If someone wants to support Denmark rather than Team GB, that's their personal choice and should be left at that.
  11. I feel a bit sorry for Greg, he's been brilliant all season, in the GP's as well as the leagues. Just a shame he didn't get the backup he needed, because he's a rider who deserves to be in an event as big as the Speedway World Cup Final.
  12. Nice going Middlo. No offence to Steady of course, but calling up Louis was a good idea. We can actually win this, get out there and win that SWC Team GB!
  13. This thread is turning into just a slanging match.
  14. Oops, yes I did miss the point. Understand now, can see your point even more.
  15. Personally I don't see a problem with regional dialects. I can understand what they're saying, so I don't see the problem. I quite like to hear different pronounciations of words rather than how it used to be on telly with everyone being well spoken and sounding the same.
  16. Yeah think Steady should have at least been left in for his final heat, didn't see that as a good move personally. Can see Australia winning, their team is just so strong this year. The Danes might push them, but I doubt either GB or Sweden will be in the top 2. If they are, it'll be very close indeed.
  17. I meant the bad-tempered part. Doesn't stop people moaning about it though does it! We could win the World Cup and people would still find something to moan about. As for that, I have always stood firmly behind the belief that it didn't matter that Hans slowed, Scott got past him as well as PK, and with the form PK was in, Scott was never going to beat him. Blaming Hans to me has always been a way to take out frustration for the fact that we blew it! Exactly. Get over it. No one got hurt, except a little pride. Scott and Hans don't get on, that's well documented, so I didn't expect anything less than a little animosity there. Blowing it all out of proportion isn't the right way to do things.
  18. Jesus Paul, you seem seriously angry tonight. VV's post wasn't the best thing he's ever said for sure, and I'm pretty certain you've just said what a lot of people actually think! But mate, please, calm down a bit. Maybe it's the heat, maybe it's personal factors, but you need to relax a little. Your postings are usually very constructive and good to read with a lot of sense behind them. You haven't offended me at all (I personally thought it was pretty funny) but you don't want to risk yourself a warning is all I'm saying. Take it easy.
  19. No offence Paul but that post comes across as you being a bit hypocritical there. Hans is a hard rider, there's no doubt about that. I haven't seen the incident, but the way it's being treated it just sounds to me like another excuse to have a go at him again for 'costing Team GB'.
  20. I'd agree with you there Sub, although I think Denmark will squeeze through ahead of Poland. But yeah, on Saturday Australia will probably do what Poland did last year and absolutely walk it.
