  1. In Denmark, in a league of 7 teams, top 2 qualify for the semi's & 3-6 are in the play offs.
  2. Just beat me to it after reading the updates & this thread, I noted down that heat 5 or 9 would be put on here. Why? Obvious to anyone.
  3. Someone, a few pages ago pointed out the numbers game but has not been followed through. Pre 1/9 you are over the limit & signing C Holder @ 7.16 & Vissing @ 4.16 converted(total 11.32) to replace Ellis @ 6.00 & Kerr @ 5.73 still puts you over at 39.05. It is then the signing of Tai @ 7.03 for Jack @ 8.91, who says he can not commit if not 100% & not let them down, which has allowed the 3 changes & go under the limit.
  4. We know speedway in the UK is struggling but so are some clubs abroad in Sweden & Poland with non payment of riders. Rules & Regulations(SCB) are not enforced & open to interpretation. The BSP Ltd & other promoters have not helped themselves with self interest. But look at the main Issues of Landlords(ARC) charging unaffordable rent, land prices where housing development takes place & the general changing of interests(phones, social media, tiktok , influencers). Money is being used elsewhere. Look at your own towns & cities. How many schools have closed down & amalgamated with others to be one, parks even industrial areas now being sold on for "affordable housing"? What about the number of boarded up houses on estates that could have a bit of money spent on them by the councils & re-used.
  5. You got there early with a 5pm start or enjoying English hospitality on your way home from Friday.
  6. ALL? you are only allowed 2 bikes at a meeting. He must have some more engines somewhere, even specialised for certain tracks(he will need a different engine for Sheffield's big track then another engine for the tiny Plymouth track?
  7. Could double uppers with visa's get an outside job.
  8. It was aimed mainly at SS as he seems the most to be in uproar over the signing. Most of the other Poole posters do have a bit of humility even though they congregate on EVERY thread but it is a forum after all.
  9. Sorry, just a bit of fun as there does not seem to be a lot of humour on this thread just lately.
  10. WHAT!!!!! .... Can't you fathom it out that it is a tongue -in-cheek reply(without the emoji)
  11. From memory & maths & equations( some 45+ years ago), the m & n cancel each other out top & bottom, so the answer is 1.3 x prem average + champ average
  12. You were happy with your team all last year & so far this year but it does not mean that Poole do not try to seek an advantage/upgrade at some time. It is more to the fact that you have egg on your faces in that someone else has trumped you with an excellent signing. Without realizing at first when looking at Wojdylo that Tarasenko was on the same assessed average so the same scenario applied. Just imagine if Glasgow had got Wojdylo & someone else came in for Tarasenko. This forum would be in meltdown.
  13. Scott Nicholls wanted to ride in the Championship, got stopped, got lawyers in, then was accepted. Everyone saying that the rules are wrong, worded wrongly, loopholes galore but until a group is put together of ex promoters, managers, riders to make up an impartial committee with rules to suit then British Speedway will continue to struggle.
  14. Glasgow probably checked all was ok with their lawyers
  15. The problem is the rule as it based EVERY rider riding in all the leagues in Poland, Sweden & Denmark on the same average. Ekstraliga riders should be at least an 8.
  16. Still time for Poole to react. (all in the best interest of the sport)
  17. It used to be GP riders not allowed in Div 2.
  18. Down to it being League meetings ONLY & NOT including play off meetings. I think it could, also, be down to teams asking riders for the following year in August/September rather than waiting until the end of the season.
  19. 28th. Just the right time to ride against Glasgow & the weather is set to be fine too. Just got to get the right result & not be complacent but have the same attitude as last night.
  20. 7 days after his last qualifying meeting. p23_issue_27.pdf ..... 6.45 PL average equates(x 1.5) to 9.68(rounded up)CL average I thought assessed riders couldn't guest until an average is obtained so why would Wojdylo be on his way to Plymouth before turning back?
  21. Good riders a couple of years ago but ..................................................................................................
  22. After 41 - 49 & 44 -46 & and a new declared 7 this is a banana skin.
  23. I would not think there are many if any Polish Junior U16 riders in the Ekstraliga which is why the U24 League was set up. He could be loaned out to Liga 1 or 2 teams though.
  24. Being effective 7 days after has been applied to the leagues before, even when the criteria was 4H4A so will apply now from the 28th
  25. You were only 4 points behind after heat 11 at our place recently with your new team & Douglas can only score max of 15 unless we go more than 6 behind. I can see this being a tight meeting not separated by more than 6 points at any time.
