  1. Over the season, Simon Stead Currently though, Kenneth Bjerre is challenging!!
  2. Hans, Holta and Steady, (I hope anyway with regard to the last one!!)
  3. Got our tickets, front row, middle tier, just off the 2nd bend (£60 they cost me!!) but at least I'll have somewhere to hang my flags!!!! We've cancelled our rooms for the 2nd and 9th but can't get anywhere to stay near Cardiff so we've settled for a small lodge about 15 miles away. Gotta thank the Auntie for finding that one!!!
  4. Haven't seen the incident, and I don't particularly like either rider so I won't comment. I've still got the GP taped on Sky so I'll watch it when I get chance (busy getting ready for my hols!!!) and then give an unbiased opinion. But really, the situation between the 2 of them needs curbing before someone really gets hurt (As long as it's not Jason....!!!! Jokin!! )
  5. Agreed with whats been said. Although I wanted Jase to win, the title's nearly his anyway and Hans is well on form right now and probably could have won the final. Some of his dirty moves earlier in his career (Nicki Pedersen skittle style!!) made me dislike the guy but credit where it's due, he's been awesome this year and fully deserves a GP spot. I think its ridiculous that he's bound to make the top 8 this year, only riding in half the GPs and doesn't qualify like everyone else. Total laughing stock of speedway. Some of his language on TV leaves a bit to be desired though!!!! Although that was a crappy decision from the ref on that occasion!!!!
  6. I went in thru my correct gate and sat in the right seat (block L39, bottom tier, second bend) but when I ventured up to the top tier on the 3rd bend to see some mates (bloody long walk and got lost twice) some evil stewardess wouldn't let me thru coz I wasn't actually sat up there myself So I had to walk all the way back again, not impressed. I mean it's not like I was inconveniencing her was it???
  7. Steve Shovlar in disguise?????? Seriously, what is your problem?? We all have riders we don't like but we don't come on here and practically slander them, particularly when most of what you're saying is total crap anyway!!!!! Jason may not have been the best rider on show (that was Greg) but he has to take the luck when its given to him, thats what you need to win a world title and thats what I believe he'll do. Obviously as a Belle Vue fan I'll stick up for him but I don't mind a bit of Crumpie baiting but you've taken it too far. My mum actually met someone outside our travel inn who was as vile about Jason as you are, lucky I wasn't there or he'd have got one hell of a go at from me. Speedway fans are supposed to be nice, would you rather be likened to the footy hooligans on Jeremy Kyle this morning???? Anyway, the actual event!!! Track - very bumpy and at times downright dangerous, but thats what happens with a one off track. TRick - better than his last two, but still gives the feeling he couldn't care less Nicki - where was he???? Awful "performance" from him Greg - damned unlucky falling off in the final but right decision to exclude him (only right decision the ref made all night!!) otherwise, Greg was fab. Jason - took the luck, and a deserved winner. Been the best all season. His year again methinks Scotty - again he chokes at the semi stage. Steady - tried hard but to no avail. Bit too big an event for him IMO, nerves a definite factor. Rico - just not at the races. Company was fantastic and I loved the atmosphere in the stadium, great weekend but unfortunately I missed the pairs
  8. Thanks to Jason and Nicki!!!! A top 10 place leaves me very happy!!! Roll on Cardiff!!
  9. Ours came saturday morning too!!! See, told you all not to panic!!!
  10. Not my decision Shazz, I just do what I'm told!!! My mum's the one with the hump and being stubborn!!!! Rach, I'll see what I can do
  11. I think my mums still got a room at the Cardiff West Travel Inn that she plans on cancelling as late as possible coz she protests that the price went up £20 (don't blame her!!) and we're now staying in Bristol somewhere and doing Park and Ride. I think she's going to cancel it on the day so I'll try and get the phone number for you and if you phone up on the morning there may be some rooms suddenly become available!!!!! I don't blame you if you don't wanna leave it that late though!!
  12. Yep me too!!!!!!!! Well done Jase, keep it up!!!
  13. Where do I find this lot then??
  14. Hope so!!!! Thanks for your response btw, someone that didn't attack me for not liking TRick - but of course, you're not from Poole are you?????!!!!! I'm running away fast now!!!
  15. Thoroughly enjoyed this GP and congrats to Nicki - he won it fair and square and cleanly, which is the most important. Crumpie was lucky to reach the final and commiserations to Leigh, but in the final Jase showed what he's made of, as he was all over Nicki's back wheel for most of the race. Im pleased with the result as it was a fair GP and those who get the luck have to take it - it doesn't happen often!!! TRick at the back though - my face was an absolute picture!!!!
  16. 1st/2nd bend, bottom tier, 2nd row. Just after the green meshing. L something or other I think!!! Great view of the big TV over the other 2 bends though!!!!
  17. Oh right, if that is true and Im not doubting it is, then Jason was out of line. At least it's been put behind all the people that matter and it doesn't need digging up again. Lets hope KB gets the wild card so he can prove his worth on the big scene!!
  18. It all makes sense now then, understandably so!! I may be about 2 years behind here, but what did JC actually do to Kenneth??? If I knew that I might understand a bit more!!!
  19. Honestly garf, I don't like either of them more than the other one, I like Kenneth and Crumpie the same so I'm not going to take sides. They both ride for my team and I have a lot of respect for what they do. I don't want to disagree with someone who is obviously a die-hard Kenneth fan, coz I understand where you're coming from. Like you say, it's probably best to let it die here.
  20. .....to be honest, neither do I. Kenny and Crumpie have a lot of respect for each other and I can't see either of them doing anything to intentionally hurt the other one. I think it's probably best to leave it there, they're team-mates for the ACES, they get on and thats all there is to it.
  21. I'm gonna play mediator here Garf is only as strong-willed as he is because he's a firm Kenneth supporter - nothing wrong with that, and I'm on his side for that. But I agree, PUK possibly did have a higher average than KB last year (I don't actually know, I don't have the stats to hand) but you need to remember Kenneth had hit a blistering bit of form before his injury and would have most likely upped his average before the year was over. Whether it would have ended higher than PUK's I don't know and no-one ever will. Kenneth wasn't really considered for a seeded spot in the GP's this year simply because the powers that be didn't know if he'd be over his injury in time. End of.
  22. Well yes, I suppose it could be due to the fact he's small, cute and cuddly. He's not furry though!!!! No seriously it is because Bjerre sounds like bear in English and Yogi bear is a famous cartoon bear in Britain. I don't call him Yogi though, I call him King Kenny!!!!!
  23. I would......... except I don't know who you are!!!!!! Also, lets hope next time we're at KL is soon, we've had too much damned rain so far!!!!
  24. Course I have, I'm Belle Vue through and through and have developed a soft spot for our little Kenny recently. And I hate speedway politics as well!!!! Ps. In case you didn't know, on Rob's unofficial Belle Vue website, my username is lou_speed, just so you know its the same person!!!!
