I do enjoy a good wind up..and poole fans always seem up for the challenge to their credit. I don't take speedway or life too seriously.....grumpy fans do my swede in.

Nor do I really....but does that mean the other promotions are a bit slow??

A load of us at ipswich are trying to drag it forward with our loud obnoxious supporting...not sure all the oldies dislike it..but one did complian we were too noisy and putting her off her knitting. I asked my other half's 14 year old if he wanted to come to a match once....he said...nah its full of old people...and boring. Also....why do you go..you are far to cool for that.

Poole or their fans don't care at what cost..as long as it's them that win.

That answer is pretty simple..I wouldn't.

One thing that has been made pretty clear to me over the last few seasons of the so called better riders riding in the second division..is that the standard is now a lot higher..but I haven't seen the crowds go up accordingly...I've read alot about strengthening the product will bring fans back...it really hasn't been the case at all....so that myth has completely burst in my eyes.

Holder doesn't want to ride for poole..and won't be riding for poole....he will be at somerset with his brother...as was mentioned a couple of month's ago...but for some reason poole fans don't seem to get that not everyone wants to ride for poole. Having said that.....they are probably nearly all the same bloke anyway.

I don't really care what he does or doesn't average..I just wished they would stop changing the bloody rules all the time

Exactly..its not a hard thing to do....but this is speedway and the last thing anybody wants is it to be a fair and open sport that's not open to fiddling or making things up.

The fact that you put possibly is enought reason not to do it that way..but because it's your team that have benefited you will defend it

That's not the answer lol. Maybe ipswich had thought about it ..but didn't because they thought he was a 7 as he would previously have been. Surely even the most dumbest speedway fan can see a case by case basis is open to mischief.

So where is the logic in say ipswich German rider with very little experience and none in a professional league on a 5 average against Joel on a 5.2?? When before this week or month or whatever ..Joel would have been a 7

At the end of every season...every speedway rider should have or be given an average which is in black and white there for all to see.

Apparently every new foreign rider will be assessed on a case by case basis. So that's why Joel has the average given. Now if that's not open to corruption I don't know what is.. Anyway. Good luck to both Edinburgh and Joel.

I guess it's why you can't go on the bspa website and look at all the rules.....no one would be able to fiddle anything to their benefit then

So we have German that's not raced in a pro league and he is a 5 ...but Joel has raced in a top pro league and it 5.2???? Something dodgy going on here.
