  1. With Lawson at lakeside and king at Coventry we would be using a lot of guests again.
  2. Wouldn't be beaten at home? Are you sure? That's a terrible home team and would be beaten far more than it would win. And a pretty boring one to watch to if you only watch your speedway at foxhall.
  3. I think a team needs to have 3 or 4 good scorers like Edinburgh do if you want to win the league, but that just hasn't happened this season. Also normally when a reserve ends up as second highest average it can often mean a good season, but that's just not happened either. This year covatti has done a Steve Worrall, but Edinburgh won the treble and we won or will win?
  4. I can't see him being back next year, he himself said he had to average 7 this season and that's not going to happen.
  5. Can ipswich keep the defeat under 20? Not that that's much use. But ya never know, cook and co may break down or get caught up in traffic for the return leg
  6. That's interesting you say that about covatti. I tend to agree about the out and out number one status, but not even king could beat Kennett or cook at home. I would keep king if he doesn't race for a Thursday or Friday track in the elite league. Also it's Nielsens riding style that makes him look uncomfortable. He is very upright on the bike. Not if he stays at Coventry, as a Friday track.
  7. Lend us cook for the season. That will help :-P
  8. Best you start doubling your ticket purchasing.
  9. Everything is possible if the money is right. Do you think Edinburgh could field all 4 of those next season?
  10. Well in that case lol. No but seriously I don't think it's the strongest and I don't think it would win a single home meeting. And probably none away either lol. Again howarth not for me. Haven't seen any improvement in him over the last few seasons. I wouldn't mind seeing a top 3 of cook covatti and Worrall
  11. Do you really want to know what I think of that team? That's why I like off season team building, as it's all about others opinions. It's harsh not having king in the team but we race a lot of Friday teams, and that means missing king for a fair percentage of those.
  12. I also wouldn't have many from this year's team, but I don't see there being more than a couple of changes at most.
  13. Don't know what that leaves, but I would imagine a fair bit as it's not the strongest of teams, but plenty of room for improvement.
  14. Wet or dry ipswich are gonna need some lubricant, cos they are gonna get bent over and it's gonna hurt.
  15. It's a shame ipswich didn't arrange the home leg for a night cook was riding for belle vue
  16. Does it really matter, we are gonna lose the home and away legs. Go for the cheap options and save some money.
  17. No one knows the rules badge. And whatever they are at the moment, I'm sure they will change them to suit circumstances.
  18. About this time last season gino started picking up knock after knock. Looks like it's happening again.
  19. We were never likely to win any match against Edinburgh away with the likelyhood of Danny missing.
  20. I think we can only make it if other teams start losing at home? Doesn't look like Plymouth will and workington don't seem to lose at home. So we could end 8th. Next year's team does need a different make up. I doubt there will be more than 1 change though.
  21. Can't blame it on tonight's defeat. Our home form has been the problem. For title favourites we probably won't even make the play offs.
  22. Oh well. When do we start the 2016 thread
  23. Ipswich were pretty good last night. Worrall was brilliant. As for some of the workington riders, they don't deserve to wear the C race jacket
