Chris is right. Not one of those riders has improved really and one has gone backwards a fair bit and the team was built on all of them improving. The fact that nico has done as good as he has has taken the spotlight of those riders performances being a bit below par. Now with a fresh start and a few things in the open I think they may just perform a bit better. Cam needs to get into his stride pretty quickly though if we are now going to make an push for the tittle. Maybe his point is showing some of us what Chris said?
-
Chris is still positive that we can finish top 3 and go on and win the league. I'm hoping he is right. Whatever happens they are a damn sight better than our current position in the league. I'm going to be totally positive and say I think Chris is right. Up the witches.

Well it hadn't been updated for weeks. It's good for cam and ash that they are starting against easy opposition.

Well after all the hype. The crowd isn't exactly massive. Don't see hundreds of kids either -
Ipswich management didn't act. Hawkins quit.
-
Now that is a great idea, but I don't think some would like it.
-
Oh there is no doubt I'm a glass half empty grumpy sod. Some people are the other way, but I don't pull up on what they say. I just give my opinion and let others have theirs. I try not to belittle other people's opinions but some on here can't help themselves thinking their opinion is better than yours. Over the last few matches I have agreed with others on that night that the manager has done the best with what he had. We all have bad days and sometimes say things in the heat of the moment. I'm sure I'm allowed to do that to? Oh and ask anyone that knows me. I'm a lovely chap really, I'm just not up my own backside like some.
-
I would imagine it will be given to Danny. But maybe giving it to rohan maybe just what he needs. Some people thrive on the extra pressure. Although I doubt there is much pressure of saying heads or tails.
-
And? Oh yeah sorry I forgot. I'm not allowed an opinion am I. I've as much right to air my opinions the same as you and I shall tell you once more, if you don't like it, don't read it or block it. It's as simple as that
-
No. There is still the rest of the season for rohan to get plenty of stick about his failings. Unless they now come to a halt.
-
So after all this. The rider that some thought was a team man and a good captain wasn't. And the manager that some think isn't that great, myself included actually is good. Right. Glad that's sorted out. Ipswich have put something on twitter about Hawkins and morris. So welcome to ipswich ashley morris
-
Well Hawkins has done what's best for him and quit. Maybe in the end this will be best for the club to.
-
So they were all happy on Saturday when Hawkins was given extra rides ?I think this has been going on for a few weeks now.
-
There shouldn't be any may in the joke book. Still. It's an entertainment and not a sport so 4 guess anyone can do what they want.
-
Dent bother wasting your time bruv, it seems any rules can be bent or not adhered to and the fans of those teams will always defend it. What's just as bad is other clubs including ours let them get away with not adhering to the rules. So they are as just as much to blame.
-
I'm not having a laugh. I'm just up selling it.
-
Biggest bust up for years? Is that classic over selling? Maybe this Hilton bloke is a bit of a bully on race days?
-
So Hawkins has said he doesn't hit it off with Hilton at meetings. Wonder if tungate doesn't either?
-
I don't know why, but I actually had you down as a rohan fan Mr 47. I don't know why but I just did. I think for some reason a few extra fans have seen a different side to him this season. Morris is a great signing. Okay sometimes he might not score what we would like him to, but he is a trier and a racer. I don't mind any rider scoring low as long as it looks like they are giving it their all.
-
Tungate a troublemaker? The problem now with rohan is the one that came up with morten every season. We all thought he could improve on his finishing average and now we have the same issues with rohan and Cameron when he comes back. If he does.rohan is definitely better that the 7 average he will currently have. But he will never be the 9 he and others think he could be.

The other rider to go?
-
Morris for me

Quit ipswich or all speedway?

That's the thing. I think there is more going on with him than we know. Maybe he doesn't get along with another team mate or maybe the manager or management. Maybe it could be that since covatti has come into the team rohan isn't in the lime light as much and he may thrive on limelight -

Depends what you call chucking away points. Gating in the lead and being overtaken coming out of bends many times. tungate not being able to enter turns and crashing in a 3 man race. Stefan going into side of covatti and falling off when in point scoring positions and tungate clearly riding the wrong line when overtaken in 13. But fair play to him it's the line he always on in most races at most tracks. As for his novice style of entering turns, he does it a lot and you can notice it more on away tracks for some reason. He seems to look nervous on the bike for whole races and whole meetings sometimes. What I find most annoying about him though is we know he can be as fast as hell when he likes a track and is in front. Maybe he lacks that extra bit of ruthlessness that is needed to make the step up. For example on Thursday he had 2 clear chances to pass up inside and he decided to shut off both times. The gaps have to be huge for him to attempt a pass. His ridding style and body position on a bike certainly limit his chances of making a step up. Having said all that, I didn't expect him to drop his average like he has, so maybe he has other issues which are effecting his Racing? There is something not right with him and Hawkins which is effecting them. Watching Hawkins so far behind is not good to watch, it was like he wasn't even attempting to bother apart from making a big fuss about the pole at the starting gate. What I have seen over the last few days Though is we can beat anyone away with this team if a couple of them could score A couple more or just score anything.
