Oh I fully expect it to go up,, as it should with everything else going up. To me it's a max 20 quid sport,, I will spend my 20 quid down the snooker club instead and watch the speedway on tv,,,, or I might go a few times a year if they pull off some good signings.

The tipping point for me has always been a 20 quid note,,, but a 20 quid note and change,,, it's over my vfm point.

I've seen those responses,, and some of those people live on a different planet. In fact,, I would say most are absolutely clueless about speedway and what makes a good or bad team.

And because of this,, I can see the TM using Batch at 3 or 5,,,quite a bit,, which again has disaster written all over it. Ellis hasn't been announced at Sheffield yet as far as I know,, and he is someone that would do a decent job at 5 at home.

Hardly any of these teams have improvement in them,,, Allen was pretty dire last time,,, although the time before he was okay,,, although no real improvement,,, Morris no improvement Batch,,, poss slight improvement,, poss slight loss,,, King will stay about same Riss,,, poss drop,,,,, it's hardly a great team in the scheme of things,,,the only realistic way of a bit of improvement is having Craig Cook at reserve,, and even then we would be hoping he doesn't have any issues through the season. Or how about actually doing a decent bit of team building and get a new talent. Surely a rider from Finland or somewhere like that could be coaxed over with a decent offer.

I can't see him coming all the way back here for just championship money,,, so I'm guessing he will have a team lined up somewhere.

For the last 20 years our teams have been full of riders that are capable,, but don't deliver. Maybe Louis knows he can't back up Doyle and will go with a strong ish reserve at 6,,knowing the other teams will be putting weaker reserves out. It's like I said the other week,,, with Doyle we will be weak in other areas,, without Doyle we can be more solid. Most fans want Doyle though,,,so we will have to be weaker in other areas,,, and hope one of the others has a blinder of a season.
