With Doyle on that average,, I just can't see how they will put a title challenging team together,,, Another team to look at for comparison is Sheffield,,, and how they are on their track,, Holder Musi Ellis Bellego,,, that's a hell of a home team
-
You ain't gonna get Michelsen here,,,, especially on that average,,, more likely Heeps
-
Ipswich really must find that euro superstar on a 4,,, otherwise will be extremely weak if Doyle is kept. We would have one heat leader against say belle. Vue that could have 3.
-
Maybe they are getting a lawyer to look over everything before releasing,,, might save some shambles happening
-
Riders who give up when at the back
Baldyman replied to Chris116's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
So instead of giving up,,, they will poodle around at the back and get paid for it,,,,, yeah great idea -
Dont really matter who Ipswich get,, Belle Vue will win the league again.
-
Nooo. Still I suppose the race between Batch and KK to see who gives up first would be funny
-
KK has been mentioned for Ipswich on another thread,,,,,
-
Deadly,,,,wasn't he awful on his last stints in Britain? Rye House wasn't it? Hardly going to start improving at his age,,,,
-
Pretty sure he has said more or less exactly the last 8 year Can't see him being anywhere else next season with his current average,,, as its very unlikely to go down
-
Well belle Vue had fricke zagar and Kurtz,,, 3 heat leaders to pay for,,, so why can't we have 2,,,, I'm pretty sure we have one of the best sponsors,, that doesn't mind putting a few quid in
-
HEEPS ALLEN,,,,, maybe its the fans that have a lack of ambition
-
The issue next season will be finding atleast one decent improver,, Doyles average is likely to drop a bit,,, Riss also Batch should stay the same ish,,, so where is the improvement,,,, we really do need an improver or 2 to stand any chance of being competitive,,,unless a serious back up rider for Doyle is found.. All I see happening is Doyle and 4 second strings and 2 reserves. We always had issues building a team without a genuine number 1,,,now we will have issues with building a team with one Just look at Lynn,,, getting a 6.5 to 7 point rider on less than 5 I think it is. Belle Vue have Brennan and Blodorn,,, both will get better,,, Wolves will have Becker,, who gets better every year.
-
Think it's more a case of how many times he gives up or politely moves out of other riders ways,, when a pass is coming
-
Because of lack of ambition or lack of budget,?
-
A good signing for anyone,,, anyone but ipswich I hope. Trouble is at Ipswich he wouldn't be at 2,,, cos the rest of the team will be just as bad or worse. It's okay having Doyle,,, but without proper support we might as well not bother having him. Not that any of that matters anyway,,, people will go regardless of how good or bad the team is.
-
We need a new to league young foreign superstar,,that has improvement,,, not a team of on ya way downers,,,, which is the most likely
-
And like this year,,, it has failure when I matters written all over it,, apart from Doyle that is,,, who's average is likely to drop a bit If a few riders return from abroad
-
Please please pretty please,,,
-
Well if he comes to Ipswich,, they will have to treat him better than last time.
-
We do need to get at least one of the likes of a Salonen at reserve.
-
Can anyone see a line up without King? I can't,, and since Batch was a bargain this year,, then surely on a lower average he will be even more of a bargain.
-
Trouble with that line up,, it's unlikely to happen,,, Sheffield won't let 2 riders go,, especially Kerr that done well once joining,,, and they will keep Ellis as their back up to Holder
-
He was going to branch out into Norfolk,,, then he realised they had too many fingers and toes to operate the machinery safely
-
Maybe has a soft spot for Sheffield as well?
