Panthers vs. Tigers 20/09 Live on EUROSPORT
Baldyman replied to BartoszZmarzlikFan's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Looks fast,, but move a foot from the curb and you are passed. Hans of old would never have let Ellis come under him and ease him out. Man up panthers,, don't blow it after you have done all the hard work -
Can't see Swindon having a team again
-
Well I hope there is more than 6 teams next year,, because that was pathetic,,, having said that,, it means Ipswich won't finish any lower than 6th

Sheffield Tigers v Peterborough Panthers - Thursday
Baldyman replied to Flappy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Kudos to the Panthers,,, I can't see anyone stopping them over 1 leg at the moment,, let alone 2. Can't believe Sheffield didn't off load Batch weeks and weeks ago -
You can have anyone if the money is right
-
There are also plenty of not so good foreign that may need to come back,,
-
Well some of the riders need to come back next year,, with hopefully at least one more team moving up,, and Rory Bjarne and poss Jason retiring there may be a shortage of suitable riders.
-
Klindt wasn't number 1,Crump was,, as average was higher

Premiership League Prediction 2021
Baldyman replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I had one of our anglia teams to reach play off,,, and the other 2 to finish bottom 2,,, I am hoping the Panthers win the play offs. -
With who? He's an RS rider
-
As for Ipswich,, I want to see some new riders, or at least one,,, for eg, Mads Hansen or Francis Gusts,,, someone new and young that already performs to a decent level. I don't want to see the already tried and failed riders we will probably end up with yet again.
-
Won't be a reserve, as its 2 rising stars next season
-
Not that I can see,,,, bit out of order really.
-
That's exactly my point,,, someone saying it could be better,,, but thats the best we have seen for years,,, our track really is poor for racing,,,,, some fans of other teams a very lucky having the tracks they do.

If King is going to Panthers for the play offs,, wouldn't 2 changes be needed? -

So how's Crump getting on around a track he knows like the back of his hand? -

I think you all may be expecting way to much from Mr Crump... He isn't very fast,, and he just sits on the safe line,,, and going by what happened on Thursday,, when challenged will move out the way for you. -

Does it matter,,, you are safe in play offs -
Yeah if we had a good track to go with stadium,, it would be fantastic. Our track prep is good,, just unfortunately we can't make the corners longer and straights shorter.
-
You wish the racing was slightly better,,, now let me tell you,,,,that meeting had the most passes seen at Foxhall in many many years,,, and some ipswich fans will tell you the racing was brilliant,, or fantastic. For Ipswich,, that was a very good one,, especially in the first half of meeting...
-
You have a fantastic race track,,,, most people would enjoy watching any team there every week.
-
But that's why we should have a look at the younger talent before the season they may sign,,, Stewart was never going to live up to his average or even get close,,, that would have been spotted my way. There are some really good young foreign riders around in the under 21s,,,i wouldn't mind putting a pound on we have never looked at or spoken to any of them,,, and I bet some would jump at the chance of riding over here to improve the all round skills
-
Lets get plenty of new young talent in and build for the next few years as they get better,, instead of going over the same old ground with the same old rider's that ain't ever getting any better. One big worry I have is the ability of those in charge to put a decent team together regularly,,, even Chris said he thought Jason would have done the job he was in to do,,,, is he having a laugh,,, no one else on the whole world thought Crump could do a number 1s job.
