There might be those who could say the Poles are not proper speedway fans then. If there not interested in Poland, there might be those who could say speedway is at deaths door. For if they don't support speedway who else will??

Because they want us to see what they want us to see not what we want to see. There are those who say, if you don't like it don't watch it. Therefore they don't watch it and they don't come back.

They thought they would get a big crowd. Problem is the FIM (or whoever) have blunted the competitive edge of these world championships to the point of making them meaningless.

It might be an odd question, but is there any point to all this !!!! It's like watching the funeral of speedway. One last ride before we go, so to speak !!!!

Once again the interest in the GP limited to 10 pages. Gary Havelock said in the Star that Zmarslik hasn't had any competition for the last 3 years. If Kurtz hadn't have made the effort Bartoz would have won by a country mile. The only races worth watching were those involving those 2 just to see if Kurtz could pull it off. We need a competition not an exhibition.

It seems they are making a concentrated effort to diminish the championship, while inferring they are doing the opposite. I watched my local team at home today beaten 2-0m deservedly so as they were crap. Not only because they didn't make the effort, but also because they didn't seem interested in making the effort. Watched this GP and they same thoughts entered my head One of the reasons you know the GP's are diminished is, back in the day, you would get 40 to 50 pages of comment regarding a meeting, now you're struggling to get 10 pages. Says it all really, when folk don't have anything to say

Could be a fraud, but not half as fraudulent as the other 14 supposedly riding to win a world championship
