I thought Peter Waite was taking over?
-
richard lawson? rene bach?
-
Hes a very good reserve at home. he struggles away from home
-
Solid middle order before that smash against Rye House
-
Scunny is a racers track with many different lines and the track is well prepared consistantly, and he's a racer! But our promotion wasted no time in replacing Tero by bringing in Jade Mudgway, so I think Tero did us a favour
-
Fair play to the Plymouth riders, they have been a credit this season
-
i wouldnt say no too schrammy or wilko one or two good meetings and they could get on a very good run. There honest lads who give there best, no qualms with that from me. Now I remember reading/hearing Berwick were one of the biggest spenders in the PL apparently so to that end bearing in mind the fans who couldn't get seats on Saturday in the Grandstand, How is the infastructure coming along?
-
Or Facu Albin on a 5? aye great shout just like Chris Harris is World Class
-
After an in depth convo with a fellow Bandits follower, would Tero Aarnio be a possibililty?
-
7 man team though Tourettes we dont sign 7 man teams. If we did would have the crowds to make it viable?
-
Berwick's best chance in terms of crowds is always those 1st couple of matches. Was away in Cornwall on the opning weekend but the product against Edinburgh and Glasgow was very poor one on a heavy track the other with Seb Alden coming off, very unlike Seb against the Tigers. I missed Glasgow's return and going by the updates 14 races were FTG. I remember back in 2000 I was listening in to some Hull fans who were saying the Elite League racing was not all that great normally being over the 2nd bend. Big and narrow track was Hull and we have the same issue. The higher the standard the poorer the racing will be if Robin Aspegren makes the start and gets on the highline around Berwick no one in the world is passing him Holder Sayfutdinov or even Jade Mudgway they are the best of the best they wouldnt pass Robin I dont think It's a tricky one our track shape is a burden we have, and I our racing product doesn't shout outtoo people to come back

Right, and we cleverly replaced Kozza with a No1 in Ricky Ashworth, ok yes we were weakened by Lee's injury but we strengthed up with Aspegren coming in for Alex. King, Tomicek, Jakobsson were and are not up to standard. So that's not injuries fault so we would have be stronger with a team of Seb, David , Lee, Filip, Kozza, Brentpn and Alex? I'm not saying its Seb Alden's fault that we have not made the Top 6, But his average has dropped and that fella is a fact while riding in a easier posistion in the side. I think he is "ability-wise" our best rider and while I think Ricky has done a tremendous job Alden is our best rider, he can gate and contrary to what people have written on here Seb is certainly not a gating tart by any stretch of the imagination. Comparing me to Aljack? aye cheers! Big Alden fan, he could score a maximum tonight and be a 9.00 rider next year, he's got it in his locker. I think we have not seen the same tenacious powerful rider that we had last year? But all at Berwick know when he's up for it he's probably the best in the League, not consistant enough and that is why I mentioned Ryan Fisher who maybe wont even get near the track record but he will average 9 points.
-
Some would argue his actions in Heat 15 the night previously ended our chances of making the Top 6 Either way I dont understand your point, Fisher for me
-
William Lawson scored a maximum for us, your point is Seb Alden is a tremendous rider when he either A) Fancies it or Brings those Swedish bikes over and until he combines those 2 we'll get a good performance one week usually against poor outfits and then he'll go missing in the big meetings the following week Maybe we don't mind Seb going missing, you sign Ryan Fisher though and he wont be average 7.5 from No5
-
Look at where they finished as a result, put riders in the right posistions and they will do well. Pepe Franc Im not a fan of anyway but to put him at No1 was lunacy
-
Arent we throwing the chequebook at Complin and Alden? in the latters case for a minimal return
-
Ryan Fisher next year anyone? aye granted he rode for Edinburgh and he knocked our riders off, but hey he's a nice guy... deep down....... who wins the odd race and could be a sparing partner for Seb in the pits. He can gate he's won League titles so I think Ryan Fisher would be a great asset to Berwick Speedway? Discuss......

Typical Workington, Berwick are in top form and they don't want to race us, to be honest its been the story of our season Can imagine our management are seeing red right now -
Is Speedway Too Expensive Now ?

£10 is about right in my opinion.
