  1. Kus seemed delighted to be back, and was a strong hint he was certainly not enjoying things under the old promotion.. Dont know a lot about Stewart, but from what Jitendra said he comes very highly recommended from Mark Lemon and Hugh Skidmore, indeed Lemon was close to naming him in the Belle Vue team this year. Jitendra seemed very excited indeed by him in particular. We all know what Busch can do around the MPA - we need an injury free year from him if possible. Will be strong at reserve all season, and in Barker we have a good number one. Relying a bit on Kus or JBA to really step up this year, but fairly pleased with the side.
  2. Which would be JBA, MBA, Busch and Stewart if the rumours are true. I like Kus, and think a fully fit and happy Kus could do well. Would have preferred him as third heat leader though.
  3. Just my opinion, but seems like a massive over reaction here. Would personally think it would have been much worse if someone comes on here and blabs the team before it is announced
  4. Shame if true, and no reason at all to doubt you! Have always liked Jonas and have been keen for us to get Mikkel the last couple of years. Good luck to them wherever they end up.
  5. Would have thought the same rule that stops Nicholls doubling down would affect him as no 2017 championship average? And Swindon will be riding on some Thursdays so would miss meetings.
  6. I would guess a seven as he rides top league in Denmark.
  7. Would not mind a gamble on one of the young Americans, signs pointing to Mikkel B Anderson as well maybe. Had forgot about Branford and not a bad shout. Seems like Perks still looking for a team which is a bit of a shame.
  8. Surely an Ipswich asset. My guess would be Mikkel, and would be pleased with that
  9. I believe there is a second hearing next week.
  10. Was certainly very interesting, I thought guests were just for any of your top three though? Interesting stuff about TV/Streaming as well with a working party looking at putting a highlights type program on a channel like Motors TV.
  11. So no Garrity back next year. Maybe a Proctor or Jorgenson in to replace him?
  12. Bears to announce first rider on Thursday. Barker or Wright?
  13. Would be disappointed with that - we stuck with him this year with his injuries. Garcia instead?
  14. Interesting article in the local paper, would suggest Friday nights and maybe a 42 point limit? http://www.gazettelive.co.uk/sport/teesside-speedway-club-redcar-bears-13909918#ICID=sharebar_twitter
  15. I'm very much in two minds about Garrity. Started the season superbly and was indeed box office. Got a couple of niggly injuries, and also got caught jumping the start a lot which seemed to really get into his head. If you get the start of season Garrity I would snap him up, if not then a pass from me I think. Personally would like to keep pretty much the same seven as this year. Barker has to be a must, along with Wright and Busch. Jonas increased his average I think and I would have him back again. Plenty of other riders I would like to see ride for us as well though. Proctor is one I would love to see back, and Paul Starke impressed me this year too.
  16. I would certainly hope Ben is back, he seemed to enjoy being a Bear and we enjoyed having him. You never know in speedway though, and riders often tell fans just what they want to hear.
  17. Would be very disappointing to not see him back at Redcar next season.
  18. Bears should lineup as : 1 Paul Starke 2 David Wallinger 3 RR Charles Wright 4 Jonas B Andersen 5 Josh Auty 6 Simon Lambert 7 James Sarjeant
  19. Meeting postponed and rescheduled for Monday. So at least 1 Bear should be riding!
  20. Up by at least 20% at Redcar
  21. I do tend to agree - definitely been more crashes into 1 and 2. A lot of the time due to a rider behind generating speed coming out of four and trying to divebomb past somebody.
  22. Gary Irving had a massive smash coming off the fourth bend, was amazed when he walked back to pits.
  23. Sounds like Bewley out of Glasgow next season - could we replace Garrity with Bewley and keep pretty much the same side (2 pointer for Ayres?)?
