As far as I'm aware, consideration still normally applies. My lecturers put a lot of emphasis on it. The only two situations that it doesn't apply are waiver (but the hotel has not waived the need for you to pay) and promissory estoppel (but the hotel has not seemingly given up any of rights under the agreement, and it would be difficult to prove you had relied on this). Also, in this situation, I'm not sure there is a totally binding contract. By advertising hotel rooms, this is usually an invitation to treat, to which you have made them an offer by booking. I'm sure they would argue there is no acceptance until money changes hands (Grainger v Gough 1896, Partridge v Crittenden 1968 etc etc), so they retain their rights of refusal. But then, we'll see if I actually know what I'm talking about when my contract exam mark comes through

I think the total cost is about £120 including taxes with Air Baltic at the moment, but around £160 with Ryanair.

Well, I think bringing the GP date forward was a bad idea. I can't go now It's during my Uni exams.

I would really liked to have gone this year, and if it had been on June 10th (as everyone had expected), then I would have. However June 3rd is in my Uni exam period, so I doubt I can go. We'll see what happens.

When I used to go to Spain often, I did see quite a lot of advertisements for Moto X. At least that's a start, I guess.

Where's that? Looking at the line ups, the Polish team looks pretty solid. I think Lindgren could be weak for Sweden and Shields/Watt could also be problematic for Oz. As for Germany... well, we know they wont win. But I hope Martin can score some points.
