And although it was free on Thursday at Sheffield, some people seemed to think even that was not good value for money -

Well Sheffield was free this week and I found a reason not to go, think the team looks good so could be a good season results wise, but the majority said that the track was the same as last year. if that stays the same I am not going to watch 15 processions just because we will do well, so I will see what happens before I commit to paying out £50 just to have a chat and moan about the lack of racing -

But for some reason we used the tigers head for at least some away matches if my memory serves me correctly -

Yes on current tracks Ricky Ashworth is the fastest man in speedway, long may he remain so. -
Very nice of the promotion to offer free admission to the first match celebrating my 50th season watching speedway Thank You PS very good gesture
-
Would have had Garrity back at Sheffield in a flash, most of the times worth the entrance fee on his own
-
not saying they wont, but if we win what have we beaten, its going to be advertised as a match against a PL team when it isnt
-
I think the track was where the athletics stadium / go cart track now are. easily see on google earth
-
i think Bob Paulson rode there a few times as well I think the track was where the athletics stadium / go cart track now are. easily see on google earth

so we have a challenge match against another championship team, would have hoped we could pit our team against a premership team to see how strong we are
-
Hopefully Josh G for us and a guest to his average for Somerset, lets see how we can go against a full team
-
Thanks

i agree, but surely the meeting needs to be held in a central location to get as many supporters there as possible, holding it in Glasgow, not a dig at Glasgow by the way, will not maximise the support is there anyway you can make a donation on line for the supporters who wont be able to attend?
-
Just said the same in the Leicester thread, please make it happen, get him away from here
-
Yes please, keep him away from Sheffield
-
No thanks, we have an excellent team for the league we are in, never know might get promoted at the end of the season
-
So its three teams in isolation this year. next year lets say two more teams in isolation and so on, how long before these isolated problems mean there is no speedway. These problems are a problem for the whole of speedway, not just for the three teams

Waiting for Belle Vue?

and they will changed as soon as possible, usually when people have already booked their away trip

Does British Speedway Have Future?
The Third Man replied to Pieman72's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Even if that was true it would be irrelevant, you cant hold up a meeting because someone is having bike problems, unless after a crash, -
Never thought of him staying with Stead as team manager, but as you say nothing to say he has gone, heres hoping though
-
I have to say that every time Boocock gets involved with Sheffield he upsets riders and the track gets slick, hopefully with him gone next season we can get back to normal
-
Yet some tracks do it on a regular basis, and Sheffield actually managed it on few occasions last season, the best meeting being against Newcastle in the league cup
