and to be honest, even though i agree this idea would provide a fairer winner, this idea is laughable. no matter how much explaining the commentators did, most people would laugh in your face if you said, the winner of the grand final wasn't the actual winner overall. either stick with what we've got now, which in my eyes is great, or get rid of the finals totally. personally, i like the format as it is now, as its still all to play for at the end of the meeting

of course he deserves to be in there. look at what he did in the world cup and in the second polish grand prix

the trouble with a one off qualification meeting, is you will pretty much always get a rider who qualifies, who isnt up to the gp standard
