  1. Trouble is, he is all over the place - literally. It seems to me that he is over-riding.
  2. It's not just about his ability; his experience and work behind the scenes is irreplaceable. Replacing a three-timw World Champ with a youngster making his major debut?
  3. So, it's not just me wondering that, then? NOTHING annoys me more than constant misspelling of names - often simple ones (like "Nicky Pederson" or "Lee Richardsson")...
  4. That's it exactly. As I've said, people long for Wembley Finals, but generally the racing was mediocre at best; we enjoyed the occasion and the atmosphere...
  5. I'm always watching old videos, and I've asked the question on here before - did we REALLY think it was that good back then?
  6. That's the problem with modern speedway. I don't necessarily think that it's a lack of skill, but with the speeds and the setups, it's just so difficult for riders to react in time.
  7. Instant gratification... I agree with you 100% about years gone by. People go on about Wembley in 1981, but we remember that for TWO races...
  8. That was the only thing I could think off (we didn't see that), but Woffinden wasn't ready at the tapes either! That is what confuses me...
  9. I agree. I like plain league formats and round-robins; if you get the most points, you win. And you deserve to win...
