BIRMINGHAM SEASON RESUMES JULY 7th
Speedway fan replied to Speedway fan's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
just the way it copied ! -
BIRMINGHAM will resume their 2021 season next week. The Brummies will return to action with the second leg of their Knockout Cup tie against Redcar at Perry Barr on Wednesday, July 7 (7.30).With talks ongoing with Birmingham City Council and Perry Barr Stadium management regarding potential walk-up admissions, supporters are strongly advised and urged to purchase their tickets in advance via https://www.trybooking.com/uk/eventlist/speedway.Any supporters who struggle to purchase tickets online are encouraged to ring 07544 294420 with staff members available to help over the telephone.Co-owner David Mason said: "We are desperate to get things back up and running at the very first available opportunity and that will be on Wednesday, July 7 with the visit of Redcar."It goes without saying it's still a far from ideal situation but we can assure supporters we are doing everything within our power to try and make sure we can crack on with the season."We said we wanted to be back at the start of July if other outside factors allowed and whilst we wish we had a clear-cut decision regarding walk-up admissions, we need to try and get things going again."We can't stress enough though how we need every single person's support and backing because this really is a testing time for us."We've said before how we need healthier crowds on a regular basis at Perry Barr and we don't want to be the people at the helm who oversee any sort of demise."The Birmingham supporters are fantastic; they're loyal, they're enthusiastic and they get behind their team."We know there are so many more out there though who don't come as often as they used to - and while, of course, we appreciate how hard everything is for people at the moment, now is the time to get everyone back on the terraces."Work has been continuing behind the scenes and as a club we feel we're as ready as we can be at this moment in time."We had Dixie Dean (track curator) down on Sunday and he spent all day working on the track."Everyone knows we encountered a few problems on opening night but it looks and feels a lot different after all the hard work he's put in and from here on in it should only improve week-by-week."We've been keeping the boys in touch with everything that's been going on and as I'm sure you can imagine, they're just itching to get back to it."Yes it's a job for them but they genuinely believe that as a group they can achieve something this year and they are keen to make the rest of this season one to remember for all of the right reasons."

Birmingham have successfully appealed allowing walk up entries at Perry Barr with Birmingham City Council as long as masks worn and socially distancing is maintained. Only the zones with remaining capacity will be offered so fans wanting their favourite spot are advised to use the on line ticketing at Trybooking.com Birmingham EDWARDS Plumbing Brummies1. system for programmes will be announced . as for smoking -- will ask the stadium what the rule will be . I believe the station is closed but will check on masks --it is down to each council and their rules plus the stadium owners . Reading the T+C's at other tracks there are some with and some without ,I know Eastbourne have had to add it or they would be closed down.

thank you Neil .... other than the name there are no other details showing !! How many Mr Jones , Mr Preece are there etc and their information is protected , Only Try Booking and Birmingham Speedway have access to any sensitive data and as holders of an ICO data protection licence are bound by this . If someone doesn't want to book like the person above then they will not get in to watch their speedway .... that is their choice if they actually come to speedway or not .

really? so have you looked at every track's system then... every track has to use on line ticketing ..... can you let us know where people's names and booking information is being splashed please as this will be looked at . Most events nowadays have on line ticketing whether it be football, cricket, entertainment etc . So far everyone has says how easy a system this is to use . If your criticism of the system is in any way correct we will sort it but I am sceptical of your claims . Taking cash at the door is down to each local council and the majority have said it can't be done under current situations .

old tractors and water bowser are hard if not impossible to insure ...and if they were the premium would be more than their worth if you could find an insurer to take on the risk -
