  1. Do you reckon the sponsor has paid riders like Doyle,Thompson,King and Edwards not to exert themselves in the matches they have had since Thursday?Riders go racing and the adrenaline pumps they want to win.
  2. I would say the answer to the two questions are the same.Money, fans and pride.
  3. Would he have been ok if it was the play off final though. Was this week due to be the final?
  4. But its those races that make meetings enjoyable to watch. As a neutral i would rather that than for him to gate and sail off into the distance,
  5. I am not a J.Holder fan,but you have to admit he was good to watch over the two legs no matter how much you dislike him.
  6. I understand IanB's point though, there's nothing worse than to see your rider constantly give up when at the back.Think he has history of it,unsure. The same happened at Lynn with Boughen and the fans became frustrated with those antics.
  7. So Zmarzlik wins by a point, coming in getting an extra point more than Kurtz in those stupid race thingy bobs they done.I think anyway.
  8. Obviously you weren't there.Tate and Mulford done well.3+1 away for Mulford is ok for a rs imo.Cook steady as usual. The only real let down was Lidsey who rates Lynn as his favourite away track if it isn't too grippy.Bewley is so fast on a bike.Kurtz also probably let Belle Vue down in his last 2 rides, well off the pace in them.Going into the last 3 races I fully expected Belle Vue to at least get a draw on the night, but that changed with the downturn of Kurtz form on the night.
  9. It certainly looks like it.They wouldn't get the extra 5% on his average for their home matches then, and would have to have a guest if he isn't fit.
  10. According to the BSPA averages after tonight,Lawson's average is too high even for the one at Ipswich.
  11. Ellis does score big at Foxhall on occasions, you make it sound he does it all the time. Was it a 6 and a 5 against Lynn this season.Shouldn’t Ipswich be able to cover that? He is 5th best at home this season, just where he is in the overall averages.
  12. They all fit in easily with their current averages, if the points limit is the same next season. Just thought I would take a look at the averages after last night's result, and under King's Lynn it has the Oxford averages😆
  13. Agree, some people have to make things up to suit an agenda. It was done early as I even decided to go into the bar last week and have a listen to what the riders had to say. Then I was getting a drink from McDonald's at 10pm.
  14. Ht13,what a race!,plus various others, but ht13 shows you dont need superstars to give you a cracking race.
  15. Lynn normally rip the starts up too,but what makes Lynn really grippy is the clay content so normally the starts really are very grippy.Last night most of that had gone off of most of the track.Simply Leicester outgated Lynn pretty much all night. Kelvinht both gates in the main car park has been open for the last 3 or 4 meetings.
  16. But Gavan assured everyone that you have to be wide as that is the only line😉
  17. Track was not good at all tonight as explained by Buster.Rained quite a bit today as my daughter rang me wondering whether it was still on as she was working in Lynn. Then the heavy downpour near 4pm put paid to any kind of racing. This definitely suited the fast gating Lions. No grip around bends 3+4 where Bomber normally makes his moves. It showed how different the track was when Kemp and NKI got the scores they did. Buster explained they they put dust down to soak up the rain water but this then left pockets in the track where some didn't soak in.The track then had most of the shale pulled off and then we was left with what we got.FTG in pretty much every race which was inevitable, just remember NKI passing Kemp.
