I thought Lynn done well tonight with what we had left. Before the meeting I had us down for 40pts,but with losing Laguta and Riss being absolutely shocking 43pts was a very good effort. Bomber is getting some stick, but he does put the effort in.Although tonight he looked to have that bit of desperation about him. When he hit Jorgensen that could have ended very badly,as Jorgensen seemed to point out. With hindsight King for Toft and R/R for Jakobsen may have worked better, but we will never know. The beauty of hindsight. Klindt has looked a different rider at home in the last couple of meetings, must be a confidence thing with him. Laguta again the fastest man on show, hope the injury sustained when Harris hit him is only precaution and we do see him back here in a week or so.

He would fit in before or after,as long as you do it before the end of the month.
-
See on the official BSPA website the last set of averages to be put on there.Go to Sheffields line up and you will see Bellego's average goes to 4,with the effective date being the 22nd of June . It's all highlighted in green.

First one through the turnstiles I think

Having just had a quick look at it,it seems that rule has been amended this season. But it implies to me as he is taken out through injury it says he is not allowed to be re-declared back in the team until 28 days has passed.Obviously a re-declaration has to fall on or under the points limit so in this case he can't replace Kye.But if it fell under the points limit it doesn't say he can't replace Kye.
-
By the rules he wouldn't have been able to come back this season, only in the best interests would he had been allowed back.To get Laguta in he had to make way as well as KK and bring Kye in at the same time.If they could have got Laguta in just for KK then i'm sure they would have done that, then Kye could have been a 28 day injury replacement for Pickering. If that happened then Pickering would have been allowed back in the side.
-
That is usually the case. But as IronScorpion has explained certain riders will get their new ones a week after completing their 3H and 3A.90% of riders will get their new rolling averages from the 23rd with the effective date being the 1st of the following month.
-
Yes,his average changes on the 22nd of June which would take him to reserve.Although the rumours doing the rounds is Pickering will replace him which would leave Howarth at reserve.

His average of 4 becomes effective from the 22nd of this month. -
Except for "in the best interests of speedway". I'm sure Tofty posted somewhere, can't remember where now a picture of his leg in like a plaster and awaiting another x-ray to see if the bone had moved. That obviously sounds like a broken bone.
-
Yes we would be weaker with R/R for Jakobsen. But what I meant to come across in the first instance was if Pickering was to come back for Lynn on Monday obviously instead of Jakobsen now,you could use R/R for Toft or use King as guest. If Pickering doesn't come back then you have to use Riss for Jakobsen imo.
-
I was on about King for Toft, sorry if it didn't come across that way.
-
MT was given a huge chance before the beginning of the season and fooked it up by not delivering on his promises. Alex has unfortunately got a lot bigger concerns outside of speedway. To which is no ones concerns really. The problem with the invention of social media really is that everyone wants to know everyone's business.
-
Or you could have Danny King as guest maybe.Riss even if he is ok now,see he has done a few meetings for Redcar now. If Pickering isn't fit then I would have Riss for Jakobsen and R/R for Toft.

The reaction from the crowd was as if we had won the league as someone put it.It reminded me of the crowd many years ago when more went.Even I give a big old cheer, something I haven't done for a while, only a jeer towards a ref decision or something is what I am more use too. I'm not a fan of a superheat, last night excepted.Again if it works for you it's the best thing since sliced bread,if it doesn’t then you will be so anti.
-
See him wandering around.Quite strange to see him back after quite a while away. Can we make anything of it after all what has happened. Buster was quite happy after the super heat, giving hugs out to Laguta and Klindt.

King's Lynn v Wolves 15/06/23

There's obviously 2 reasons you won't have Saturday nights at Lynn, stock cars make the money on the weekend. And for Elite league racing Poland dictate pretty much every day of the week sadly.Even the lesser riders do Poland at the weekends. -
Pickering may go to Sheffield it all depends on the rules though.Im sure he will be back at Lynn if the rule which doesn't allow you to re introduce a rider back in your team goes to the "best interests of speedway",where that would allow him back at Lynn. Don't think where he lives has any bearing on where he goes, after all riders come from everywhere.

Totally agree BB,some people get stuck in the past and think it was great then compared to now.But as you say the racing isn't much different at all.You got a lot of strung out races back in the so called good old days. The only thing different back then was the size of crowds and atmosphere that made it seem that much better imo. What else did we have to do in the 70's and 80''s,apart from the obvious. Was thre a baby boom in those decades
