  1. This is what I was saying if the interest in attending meaningful matches diminishes to other ways of spending your money then the paying public declines and then eventually tracks will disappear.
  2. What I meant was that the interest in meetings later in the season needs to be kept alive for more than just some teams and for the paying public, yes they want entertainment they want to see there team win but if theres no meetings at all there interest goes elsewhere sorry for posting something that others may want to discuss, thought that was what the forum was for.
  3. Its not good that half way though June and at this stage of the season its clear these are the top four in the league and the rest after the cut off have only the cup or nothing to ride for, the paying public will turn there attention elsewhere and could feel sod this im not returning again british speedway is in such a state now that you have to fear for its future.
  4. Think Hall could be the one to lose out especially if his scores are poor and Lambert doesn't comeback from his injury anytime soon. Zach hasn't really impressed in the past at the showground but the bottom ends of teams are weaker now
  5. Maximums are few and far between for Peterborough riders last one was Ben Barker at Sheffield in play offs was it not ?
  6. Tom Bacon scored 17 at Kent Monday evening but his struggles in the championship have been well highlighted goes to show that for some the NL to championship jump is a bigger gap for some. Also shows the sorry state of UK youth development when a team chooses someone like Hall over a NL rider
  7. Simon Lambert off to hospital with suspected broken wrist
  8. Got to have a good no 2 now and again!! Think he means hes 5th in the averages .
  9. Perhaps Ulrich should do what Josh Auty did retire for a few days then comeback all rejuvenated again .
  10. If they had resumed whose to say that the Panthers wouldn't of turned it around on a track that could of rode differently to the original. To many riders get badly injured riding perfectly ridable tracks and maybe in this case it was in everyones interest to call it a day, im sure someone like Lewis Kerr would of been apprehensive of the conditions . It wasn't the paying publics best scenario but at least it was better than a complete farce and with the riders staying safe and theres always another day for speedway
  11. If you weren't there its better to wait first for a post from someone who was before forming an instant opinion but to some its just lets have another pop at the Panthers fans or wind em up but oh yes its only banter , so lets all chill now
  12. Cant believe hes going on about a good top surface when hes clearly not had one for years. No Jet Ski Panthers
  13. Nice to read a true post from someone who was actually there
  14. We are the Panthers And we'll ride when we want .
  15. Wont be long before someone says Panthers rigged the weather in some bloody way
  16. If it was Hansen would of been more benefical for scunny for him to ride against Panthers
  17. As someone said recently. Translation : Bleat bleat bleat bleat bleat
  18. Looks like the rain off has scuppered Swindons plans to make changes to there team also, talk on there thread of a home match being arranged for 8th June if that happens then the changes maybe possible after then.
  19. Always thought Oxford were the Cheetahs & Peterborough were the Panthers. Is he on the grandstand roof again with the hosepipe been told about that before H&S and all that.
  20. Meeting will be delayed until BWD gets there . Geds informed Pickering via text hes not needed . Before anyone asks
