  1. I thought it was just the press studded number taken but on looking again it was the whole jacket that must of been taken as the number isnt a studded swap job, he used this replacement jacket for the last few meetings and as I had sponsored the jacket for the season I was given this instead complete with his studded name . Easter & Oakes knew he was british !! Well for one season anyway. Swindon then got the aussie version!! Moving to Florida .
  2. It will take a good offer for me to part with them for sure two pure legends of the Panthers , ebay screw you for the final auction fee these days not as cheap to sell on there no more, Jasons has the press studed name on back but the week before I got It some git nicked the number 1 from it out his van , I ended up with the number 7 instead.
  3. If anyones interested ive got two Peterborough race jackets for sale as im moving overseas ive started a thread in the for sale general section under memoribilia . One Jason Crump & One Mick Poole
  4. Im moving overseas and im looking to sell two Peterborough Panthers race jackets , one is Jason Crumps "Tsubaki Chain" from 1995-96 I think , the other is a Mick Poole "Sharman Quiney" unsure of year. Im open to sensible offers and if you message me your email address can send photos
  5. If you look at the teams for the challenge against Coventry theres not alot of difference now, if you take out say Garrity and promote a reserve then add a 2 pointer to the Coventry team you basically have two championship sides. The Premiership is dying on its feet fast and is just not good value for money no more
  6. Never mind im sure his girlfriend is sympathetic to his struggles
  7. Yep had my fair share of long distance thrashings in the early days , but when the dizzy heights of watching the Crump, Iversen and Andersen days came to an end found it hard to readjust back again , to the point sadly that I lost interest especially when Crumpie went up the road to Lynn in 2000 but as you say you follow your club for life
  8. Just as a thought do you prefer as a fan the Glasgow on a budget or the loads a money Glasgow of today
  9. Poole fans had mentioned the tie up was only during the Readypower sponsorship which has lapsed now, it seems its take your guess who owns the contracts and receives the loan fees now
  10. Sign who you want over, sign who you can afford ?
  11. Would be a smack in the teeth for Peterborough fans if they went into Leicester or Belle Vue as they stated they hadn't the time to run Peterborough Speedway , as for the assets Batchelor and Bjerre for example are in Lynn and Coventrys sides someones getting the loan fees and surely they would of used Bjerre If they were going to run either.
  12. Ambition : all thats left now is to just survive year after year a return to the top flight is totally pointless now as it wont be long before theres one league and as tracks disappear so to will those who attend meetings the constant watering down of the leagues will cause the demise further of british speedway before long the future i fear looks bleak .
  13. How do you know the meeting will be abandoned after ten heats .
  14. You cant pick a team on who can replace them as a guest if his average goes up the choice will be greater anyway same with Holder Starke or I expect Lambert , do think that next season will see teams riddled with guests and R/R much to many fans disapproval.
  15. Careful the grammer patrol might be picking on you next
  16. If that was the case then we wouldn't be in 3 figures of pages thats for sure
  17. Shame as Jake Allen and Todd Kurtz would be 0.01 over the limit and even Porsing on 6.58 would of been good but no chance now after this season
  18. Was amazed to see also that the shale taken from the Brandon track was rumoured to be worth 56k if id known that over the years id of collected all the wet shale that those nice riders throw at you and made a few quid.
  19. When you read all the fun and games that's going on at Coventry at the moment its safe to say it seems Peterborough got lucky when Mick Horton left town
  20. Cook and Bjerre only rode the one match together and Kennett has been hit n miss at the showground in the past, having a big hitting number 1 that can consistently win hts 1, 13 & 15 home or away can win you the tight matches
  21. Season started well but then losing heavily at home to Somerset and being thrashed away at Glasgow prompted a reaction maybe to fans and management fears at the nature of these defeats the fact that Cook was now available and could be fitted in it was a change that looked to be a positive one unfortunately results didn't go as planned . Would leaving the existing team in place of meant a play off place is something that will never be known now .
  22. Kenneth Bjerre was a Frost asset whos just signed for Coventry has he gone on loan if so who from ?
  23. Careful if you defend him or insinuate hes having a bit of fun you end up being accused of being one of his aliases.
